Excellent food quality and Western standards upheld. This is a phillipine fusion restaurant which is aspiring to be upscale. It is Western friendly which means international credit cards are accepted which is appreciated in a mostly cash only Davao. Even though the menu is long, there are many variations of classics like lumpia ubod, Kare kare and others. It is well lit, so you can see your food and makes a good environment. I would give it a half star deduction since some of the plates had dust in them. The menu is kid friendly if you order smart, as there's no specific kids portions. You can order a simple soup course, a few apps and sides and end up feeding 2 small well behaved kids without issues. This is walking distance from 3 hotels including lispher inn, Las casitas and a rest house. I would say it is a perfect and clean place to introduce tourist guests to standard Filipino dishes without any of the unseemly smells or grade B hygene of normal places. Nothing bad here, just decent food and great presentation.

Too many tables for what(?) 2 waiters(?) Too many customers leaving/walking away because they were not accommodated. Customers were standing up just to be accommodated—just to get the waiters’ attention, some took the menu on their own, some took the tables, plates and cutlery themselves. Our cake was not even lit because waiters can’t provide us anything at all for several attempts. Food is good even if it is served cold already. One lovely waiter trying to salvage our experience. I discourage to go here during big days. Prolly the worst service I’ve experienced dining out.

This restaurant serves very good classic Filipino cuisine and is conveniently situated in a quiet subdivision with many residents. They have a partner restaurant just beside it where you can cross order Japanese food from Tsuru or Vietnamese food from Hanoi. Their restaurant is also very homey and spacious, perfect for family gatherings. They also serve cakes and classic Filipino desserts. Their menu has English but most dishes are named in Filipino but photos are available as a preview of what the dish is. They accept local and foreign credit cards.

I was very disappointed with the pho (beef). Had no flavor and the soup was too oily. A bulalo from gerrys grill would actually look better. Rice noodles cut short which made it hard to grab with chopsticks and the rim of the bowl itself was full of scum as if the broth wasn't rid of any surface forth and just dumped on the bowl. I should have taken a picture. It was dirty and unflavorful. Ambience is nice though and the retro music. Otherwise, the food wasn't great. Worst than a carenderia... please fix (time 16:00-17:00, Sept 4, 2023).

Halo-halo was good and aburi salmon sushi. No...
