Pasta Sorpresa — Restaurant in Davao City

I ordered lasagna this afternoon at Pasta Sorpresa at Gahol Building Branch for the 1st time via Food Panda. My son almost swallowed a metal/steel wool like wire while eating this dish, God forbid what could happen if that thing was not caught by his tongue and it pierced against his gums as well. Fortunately he is okay and no bleeding happened. I raised this concern right away with Food Panda app "Chat" and ask to have the restaurant be checked or inspected for food safety & atleast apologize & Food Panda offered a refund which they credited to my pay wallet, okay thanks, However, my concern is still there, as a customer as a parent, with no certainty of how Food Panda will "highlight this to their management" or restaurant itself"? as per our Chat. Will they offer an explanation or an apology atleast on how or what's that wire is doing mixed-in in the lasagna which by the way my son's fav dish 'my fav dish even' or maybe not as after this incident. What if this will happen to another customer if this is not prevented. I hope Food Panda as well take such complaint seriously and will not limit their resolution with the refund only. I am still very disappointed and frustrated that I cannot keep my mind out of it as such incident happened to my son, it should never happen to...

Let me break down to you the SURPRISES ….. The Chicken Alfredo was unexpectedly dry. The Fresh lumpia was disappointingly dry as well (Hiding the peanut sauce, eh? Wrapper was thicker). The Strawberry Milk latte had my approval. The Shrimp Aglio Olio was dismal in taste…The take-away foods — Baby back ribs, Sepo, Salt & pepper squid, and Kinilaw did not even ignite a nod from my taste buds…..Plate sizes matched the prices… Staff were nice….It was a bigger surprise that they have so much on the menu but really I was envisioning the PASTA dishes to stand out….😑...

Pasta Sorpresa in Juna Subdivision is a small diner packed with wonderful food and beverage choices.

We came in a little early than its 10:30 opening but we were gladly welcomed by the staff, making us the early birds on a Sunday morning.

We ordered their all day breakfast paired with coffee and other drinks. We were very satisfied with what we had.
