Las Casitas de Angela Hotel (Matina Branch) — Hotel in Davao City

The rooms were really small and uncomfortable, there was no table or cabinet and there's barely enough space to move around, it was not justifiable for the price. The front desk was approachable and accommodating but other personnel were really insensitive with their actions around me, especially within the lobby area. As I was studying in the lobby, some of the personnel would converse very loudly and even had music playing at a very irritating volume and to add insult to injury, some personnel turned off one of the main lights while I was still obviously reading within the premises of the lobby. The security guard is useless, he's supposed to guard the entrance or open the door for guests to come in but instead he spends the better half of his day on his phone and he even sleeps at night instead of doing his job. My overall experience wasn't that great, most of the personnel were dense, obtuse, and disrespectful with their actions. we checked in around 9pm unannounced and no online reservation, luckily there's a room available@795 pesos per night. we booked for 2 nights. the room itself is small but as a couple it was fine with us and we are here as tourists so we were not going to stay in the hotel room for long. the amenities are good. it had brand new inverter aircon, a brand new flat tv, the mattress firm, the bathroom is very modern and squeaky clean and the flush works everytime. for breakfast and other meals, we opted to eat outside as there was a 24 hour mcdonalds, jollibee and tapsilogan place with good food and very reasonalbly priced too and a nearby 7-11 store. as its located on the highway and 2 prestigious schools surrounding the inn, traffic is very heavy starting in the morning. over-all i would recommend this inn if you are staying in davao and the lobby too is picture-worthy. the staff are very accomodating and very helpful. with...

We stayed in the place for two nights, budget double room good for 2 pax. I unfortunately haven't took a photo of the room, but it's really not spacious. We can barely move around standing. The TV also didn't turn on. The CR is good, because it has hot and cold shower and a sink.

When I inquired beforehand through FB Messenger, they said that there's one free breakfast for one of us in the room. But when we paid for it upon arrival, they said the room we availed isn't part of the said promo. It's quite disappointing since I specifically asked for the same room we get, but I understand it somehow.

As for the staff, they are very accommodating and welcoming. They make sure we live in comfort and always attend to our concerns.

Overall, the hotel's lived up to its name. It's convenient to stay here also since it is nearby many known places in the city.
