Bo's Coffee - The Compound Davao — Restaurant in Davao City

We arrived here on a Saturday morning around 9:30 and just a few people enjoying coffee and food with their laptops. They have very good food and drink options on their menu. We ordered a Caffe Mocha, a Ampucao hand pour and a slice of Dulce De Leche Cheesecake. The Ampucao hand pour was bold, bright and smooth. The caffe Mocha was right on target as expected both bold and rich. Both coffees paired well with the cheesecake which was, in itself, excellent being moist, flavorful and not too heavy. Another point to consider is also adding more food choices in their menu like rice meals, and pizza.

It is hard to find a niche cafe in Davao and Bo's is no exception. The problem with these rankings is that they are mostly made by Filipinos who think good cafés ought to be like Starbucks! Bo's is clearly modeled on Starbucks. In Europe or Australiasia, educated and creative people despise Starbucks, McDonald's and American franchises.
