Italianni's Restaurant - Abreeza Mall — Restaurant in Davao City

Went there today for lunch. Started good because of the atmosphere. But service and food went down the hill. Waiters and managers are not attentive. Especially our waiter. She does not focus on all her assigned tables, so it's hard to ask for water. One of my friends' order was so delayed that it took like an hour to come. They didn't tell us. We keep asking for an update. No one was giving us a straight answer. It took more than 1 hour to arrive. People who came later got all their food than us. I'm very disappointed. Asked for the manager, but not even her came. They said she was too busy. I'm not sure what that means. I asked for drinks from another waiter since I couldn't find ours, but I don't think she took note of my order since even the drink took super long. I have to constantly remind anyone I could find out about my friend pizza and the drink. Other people pizza came even though they arrived later than us. Just wanted to share my recent experience at Italianni's in Abreeza Mall, and as a guy who doesn't always go for Italian cuisine, I have to say it was a pleasant surprise.

First things first, if you're a pasta lover, this place is a solid choice. The variety of pasta dishes they offer is pretty impressive. I tried their signature pasta, and it hit the spot. The flavors were rich, and the portion sizes were just right – didn't leave me feeling hungry or overloaded.

Now, about the ambiance, I was pleasantly surprised. Italianni's has this cozy yet lively vibe that made the meal enjoyable. The lighting was just perfect, not too bright or dim, and the overall setup was inviting. It's the kind of place that makes you feel comfortable, whether you're there for a casual meal or a special occasion.

I thought their food was just okay, but the whole dining experience was ruined by poor service,server only checked with us every 45 minutes,after 2 hours, finally took our dinner order,salad delivered after entre', every entre' delivered separate time, some people finished with dinner before others got their dinner, server disappeared for over an hour, some entre's never arrived, no attention given from other servers or supervisors, complain to supervisor they apologize and gave 20% off but over charged for drinks, and that only give us 12% off, offered complimentary deserts we didnt think it was worth the wait. The entire dining experience took us 3.5 hours for a simple dinner for 3. It could be a good restaurant that offers an alternative to filipino food but currently the staff has no understanding of what servicing customer is all about, potential is there but needs huge...
