Lachi's Cake Shop — Restaurant in Davao City

We were here for a nightcap after a hearty dinner at a nearby European resto. Nice ambiance and like the variety of colors as backdrop for this cake shop cum cafe. Perfect place since we needed to have coffee and tea to down all we've eaten. Surprisingly, the tea we ordered was good! It was tea in a kettle good for tge 4 of us! We also had sansrival cakes to match the tea. These sans rival cakes are also to die for! If you need to have a quick bite of aome sweet pastries and cakes - you should drop by here. Or if you need to take out some sweets to bring home, visit and choose from an array of cakes this resto has been known for. They have their main branch at Malfori Heights, a subdivision in the downtown but this one doen't serve any meals - only cakes and tea/coffee/drinks. Worth a visit if you're somewhere near Tulip Ave/Juna Subd/McArthur Highway/Matina and other areas in the South portion...

If you’re a Davao local, Lachi’s is one of its best kept secret for its homecooked meals and savory desserts. I always order their melt in your mouth roast pork. Try their fried tofu in teriyaki sauce, laing and tuna in coco milk. And their cheesecake? Try it and i’d assure you of heavenly goodness. Best paired with Cafe Americano. They are known for their sans rival without rival in taste.😊

Owned by twin brothers who made available their mother’s well-loved recipes, it’s a welcome treat that they opened an outlet here in Tulip Drive. Their original resto at Marfori Heights is always full!

This local shop has been here for as long as I can remember and seems undaunted with new ones popping up…. Their cake selections have not changed. For first timers, go for the Sampler, Choco Mud Pie, or Sans Rival….A long time ago, we hired Lachi’s for a family event at The Apo View Hotel Ballroom for our sugar rush….Even nowadays, I can say it is still one of the few key go-to cake shops...
