Have you ever took your lunch two hours late than usual? That was me earlier today. So after I finished my transactions, I rushed to the 2nd floor of SM and went to lechon haus because I know they serve their plates fast. I’ve been here twice and I always order L2 meal, the spicy lechon. They have extra sili in the condiments area, though, for the sawsawan. Just few minutes after I ordered and then sat on my seat, the meal came in. It was not freshly hot, it was just normal ready to eat lechon meal which I am nothing against with. In fact I like it this way because I’m starving. There were sogginess and some crisp on the skin, which i prefer. Unfortunately, when I was was ordering, I added adobong kangkong which the cashier politely informed me that it’ll take 10 minutes to prepare. I already had my third cup of rice, which is in unli serving. I waited, patiently waited. I believe it was 25ish minutes since they gave me my lechon plate when I decided to asked them about my kangkong. Someone shouted something to the kitchen and somebody faintly responded. Only then that strips of green leaves were sizzled on the pan. I actually saw the whole thing. I was flustered but composed. I seated there turned my headphones on to max to extend my patience furiously checking my watch every often so. Then the kangkong came. Hot and fresh. Good thing it’s not too salty. Not too sour. Very great adobong kangkong. I like their lechon and kangkong. But still I’m giving 1/5 star for...
Read moreThe food is great, I love the lechon, it is my first time eating here, a friend of mine introduce it to me, at first I was like, are you really sure that the food here taste good or like just fats all over the lechon ? Cause the majority of the lechon I ate was full of fats and that's make me feel like I'm going to vomit. But after I taste their lechon wow, I really loved it. And also the staff are quite nice, the store itself is nice, I haven't take a pic because I was starving that time and I'm carrying my baby so sad. Well the good thing about their lechon is that it is not so fatty and also the skin is so crispy, I love to pair it with toyo and lemon juice, it is superb. I highly recommend the foods here plus it's unli rice haha. I love more rice cause...
Read moreI have a deep love for lechon and chicken, so I always order the half and half. Their lechon is delicious and juicy. The roasted chicken is a bit dry but still good enough to eat. Halo-halo is good for two with a good amount of toppings given its size. I stopped eating rice but with just one look, I could tell it's on the dry side. Tip: this place is packed durinf rush hour (lunch ans dinner) so expect that you'll be served with whatever lechon is left after the rush. It was unfortunate that we had to experince that and ended up with a half serving of lechon with rubbery skin, bur not hating on it as it's to be expected. So, don't go complaining when you eat there...
