To quickly sum it up YUK!!!
Being from the US Pizza Hut was my favorite place to go for pizza, unfortunately the Pizza Hut at SM Ecoland tastes nothing like Pizza Huts in the US I have eaten at.
Pizza Hut is popular in the US because it has a very good sauce but here in PI it does not compare, tastes more like watered down catchup.
To go into a little more detail. We decided to eat at the one at SM Ecoland and there were 3 of us. First off the place was hot from little or no aircon and it was also pretty empty (now I know why) .
We ordered a combo platter that it said was for 6 to 8 people, so we figured we would take the leftovers home. It came with a salad, soup, chicken wings, potatoes, garlic toast , a pasta dish and 2 pizzas and was I think $1799p.
We wanted Caesar salad but they only had garden salad. It was a little bowl of lettuce and a few pieces of other veggies. I have had salads here in philippines for 1 person that were bigger than this was and it was supposed to be enough for 6 to 8 people? We each ate about 2 fork fulls. This was just the beginning all portions were extremely small even the pizzas were small although they call them family size. The 3 of us ate everything that was included in this 6-8 serving combo platter because the portions are so small.
The chicken was good but only 5 wings came with it. One order of sliced potatoes and we each got 6 pieces.
We wanted French onion soup but they only had mushroom. It was good but again it was small portion so we each ate 2 of them.
This place is expensive because of the small portions and the pizza is just not good like Pizza Huts in US are. I don't know if this is an isolated thing or if all Huts here are like this but I will not be finding out because I will never eat at one here again.
If you want good pizza go to Yellow Cab or if you want good pizza and good value go to S&R, they are hard to beat in my opinion.
If Pizza Hut does not improve significantly I don't see how they will survive here in the Philippines. If they tasted the same here as US and had the same value like unlimited buffet each day for lunch I think it would be great. If they can do it in US then they should be able to do it here in Philippines I would think.

I end up of waiting for my 2 company to finish their meal and look for the other restaurant for my lunch.. It is not a good experience. No other option offered from the service staff. No beverage offer to my daughters order and we didnt receive any service water, my daughter need to stand up snd went to the service personel to order a bottle of water instead. Read moreWell everyone knows what they are going to get at Pizza Hut, Pizzas, no surprise there, but the quality is uniformly good with a wide choice of toppings, also garlic bread, some pasta dishes and a salad bar.
Sometimes service can be a bit slow here but you have to balance this against the fact that that the pizzas are individually cooked to order so factor this in if you are looking for a quick visit.
