MarinaTuna — Restaurant in Davao City

Although they have other branches in the North portion of the city - we usually go here for Sunday lunch or whenever we have visitors craving for tuna dishes as it is nearest our place. Very accessible and convenient, not to mention a big parking space. Place is pretty OK - quite big. What we usually order are the inihaw na tuna panga or buntot, bagaybay ( tuna roe), kinilaw ( tuna cerviche ), seafoods pinakbet amd their tuna eye soup. Perfect combination. It is filling and tuna dishes are so good and tasty. Their pinakbet is worth trying, too, since instead of pork, seafoods are mixed with the veggies. Waitstaff are warm, accommodating and knowledgable about their dishes if you ask them. No need for desserts since foods are worth the value for money and so filling. We usually go for the frozen delights which you can also buy from them to down all the food you've eaten. They have a chest freezer where you pick what you like. We were pissed! We ordered baked scallops & grilled tuna belly. Got the tuna first with 2 rice but never the baked scallops. When I asked after 45 mins the lady said we just gotta wait for another 15-20 mins. We waited coz I wasn't done eating anyway, but my partner hasn't had any coz he doesn't eat tuna.
