I really hate to share about this place that we just discovered. Because I am selfish. (Only came here to google because I was mapping it, I am foreigner, learning my way around.) There is an all you can you eat buffet, nice. Or if you want Native Chicken and Kinilaw etc, you can order off the menu. Which we did. It was a FEAST. Service was great. We asked for lots of chilis, lots of kalamansis, several rounds of extra rice, and it was all served quickly and cheerfully. Kudos to the manager, because the staff seems happy, enjoying their jobs. To me that makes a difference. And oh yeah, they have aircon areas, one shared and elegant, one private with a cable television. (Karioke available too, I was told.) i would return there again with uyab and family. But I would also return with barkada mates to chow down on grilled native chicken and swill red horses in the private room. A GREAT place. Cant BELIEVE I am letting you know. PS Waitress...
Read moreVisited the restaurant during a recent Davao trip. The restaurant is highly rated on Google Maps.
The food is reasonably priced and is cooked fresh as you order. Service time is reasonable considering that but servers can get distracted and not notice you calling them for water or for the bill.
Native Lechon Manok (Spicy) Pretty good level of spice here but the chicken was a bit dry and thin. I would order this as a regular plump chicken.
Grilled Tuna Belly Again on the dry side and I've had better tuna belly in the past.
Fried Rice Fried rice was actually pretty good and low key the best dish for me that we had? While there were still lumps of rice, there was plenty of meat and eggs, and everything was well-seasoned.
Imbao Pretty much clam tinola and it tastes exactly as how you'd imagine it. I haven't had tinola for a while so I enjoyed this. Well...
Read moreNice place, wide place, fully ventilated, good customer service. I ordered their bestselling native chicken honestly a bit disappointed it does not come with rice so got it separately. I dunno if it's because the chicken's native hence the minute serving, but I finished the chicken before my rice and kinda sad. Thankfully they gave me soup for free. Since the weather's warm and craved for halo-halo, got one and truth be told, I'm not impressed. It's not the dessert I foresaw, it lacked a lot of basic ingredients and tryna replaced it with sago pearls, bad move. The ice was rough. I didn't finish it though. I feel bad. :( But overall experience was okay. Next time, I gotta try their seafood. :) Hoping, it will be good...
