I wanted to try this place out to see if the low score 2.3 @ the time of writing was warranted. I will start with the positive. The place looks great and the swing chair that aligned the windows are a fun touch. The chicken wings and the honey pork chop were nice... the chop in fact was more than nice it was delicious. But that is where the good part ends.. I had originally ordered the roast chicken with fries. As can be seen from the photo the chicken was very under cooked and the fries were none existent. I returned the chicken and had the chop instead. When we ordered I had asked for 5 Knives as its a whole lot easier to eat meat with than a spoon. our food arrived but we were still without knives. I got up as asked the waitress nearby for knives.. not understanding me I did spell out what l wanted and though she understood.. as she then went away to the front desk... but then didn't get anything and then just walked away.. and never got the knives! I then asked another waitress who came back with 3 after asking for 5. The food is expensive which for the location is acceptable but the none cooked roast chicken, the missing fries and the failure to bring knives... or more so the not bring of the knives after asking the waitress again is ready the sign of the poor service and why this restaurant had rated so poorly.. in fact if you look at the 5 star ratings in the review they seem fake so the overall rating is probably less than 2. I really wanted for the reviews giving 1 or 2 stars to be wrong but I believe that is an acceptable rating. I have reviewed a lot of places in and around Davao and I can say for sure there are a lot better places to eat. I would welcome the owner to get back to me as there are positives as I said at the start but the rest makes it a...
Read moreI had a late lunch here, and while the food came out surprisingly fast, there were only three customers in the entire place, including me, so I was expecting a peaceful meal. The music was nice, and I really thought I had made the right choice staying here instead of the noisy restos inside the mall.
But I was wrong. The staff decided to gather around a table right in front of me as if it were their own hangout spot. They were talking loudly, and one of them was playing a game on their phone at a disturbing volume, even throwing in curses. It felt like being stuck in the middle of a rowdy group of teenagers in a cafeteria.
It was so uncomfortable. The noise level was ridiculous for such an empty place, it completely defeated the reason I chose to eat there in the first place. And to make things worse, despite the service charge on the bill, I had to walk up to the cashier myself just to settle it because no one was paying attention when I called...
Read moreIt’s nice if you want a calm atmosphere that’s easy on the ears and eyes; instead of sitting in the middle of all the hustle and bustle inside the mall. I enjoyed my time hanging out here to catch up on a bit of work.
The food is enjoyable and definitely fulfilling (I favor their Frappes and pasta options) but the prices usually make my wallet cry 🤧 plus they charge you for a 5% service fee 🥲
All-in-all I find it worthwhile and definitely see myself coming back here again in the...
