Around 10pm this day We were really disappointed with our visit this time. Even before placing our order, my partner asked how many minutes it would take for the food to be served, but the staff gave vague and unsure answers.

The Hakata ramen arrived not hot and didn’t taste the same as before. It also had way too many sesame seeds, which overwhelmed the flavor. The chaan was extremely oily and overly salty—I could even feel whole bits of rock salt in my mouth. It was too strong in flavor.

As for the California maki, they didn’t inform us that only one flavor was available. They’re supposed to have different flavors, including the one I usually order, but apparently only one was left. We weren’t told until I asked why it looked different, and they just said it was the only one available.

We raised our concerns, especially about the oily chaan, but the only explanation they gave was that it was because of the sesame oil. Still, it was excessively oily.

We spent ₱950 for everything, but it was disappointing overall. The last time we ate here, there were no problems—in fact, the food was really delicious back then. We didn’t bring our phones either, since we live...

The ramen here is pretty good. It's a large bowl of soup and it tastes quite delicious. And it has lots of ingredients in it. I would come here again for the food. But the atmosphere at this restaurant was pretty bad. The music was very loud and obnoxious. I could not hear my own thoughts. It sounded like a bar on a Friday night. I would give this place four stars if they had some peaceful Japanese music instead of loud obnoxious rock and roll. Also, no free drinking water (tap water only). I never like when a restaurant doesn't have free water. Restaurant is pretty small. It's mostly counter seating. So not a great place for a big group or a romantic date. Ideally this place is good for one or two people. The menu was pretty big at least. Even though it was ramen focused, I give them a thumbs up in terms of the amount of ramen that they had, plus they had some other options like small pizzas and burgers, gyoza and some small...

Went for weekend dinner. What we ordered:

Hakata Ramen (since Shichiran was sold out) Kita Kata Ramen Chasudon (pork humba)

Was disappointed that Shichiran was sold out, especially since this store is open 24hrs. The ramen were delicious tho. As for the humba, pinoy humba is still superior.

Waiting time is average, but my sister was annoyed that the dishes were not served together (5 min interval between ramen and don). PAYO is personally an ick for me as well. You can’t request for additional order without getting up and going to the cashier.

There are no parking spaces in this area unless chancing for public pay parking. Seats are limited and in perpendicular type like in most ramen houses so store may not be suitable for large groups who plan to catch up over a meal.

All in all an average experience. For the taste and price point, will recommend other cheaper japanese restaurants. But good luck...

We had a late dinner at Shichiran since it was within walking distance from our Airbnb. We were also glad that it’s open 24 hours, which made it convenient for our late-night cravings. Overall, we enjoyed the experience and the food. We ordered the Tonkatsu Curry and Tan-Tan Ramen, and both dishes did not disappoint. >Tonkatsu Curry had generous portions, with the Tonkatsu perfectly crispy and the curry flavorful. >Tan-Tan Ramen was creamy and had a delightful kick of heat, making it a standout dish. The ambiance was cozy and pleasant. However, if you're dining with a large group, the seating arrangement might not be ideal as it’s set up in a perpendicular style. There are still room for improvements, but this didn’t take away from our enjoyable experience. Despite this, I look forward to dining here again when I visit Davao!
