I’m genuinely impressed by how CEV pays attention to every detail to elevate the dining experience. From the food to the ambiance, everything was on point. Here’s what made our visit unforgettable:
FOOD HIGHLIGHTS:
Pacifico With just the first bite, the flavors had us dancing! The festive atmosphere and great music added to the magic. This dish is bursting with flavor, every element perfectly balanced.
Bonus: I’ve tried many versions of kinilaw, but CEV’s twist is something else! If there were awards for reimagining tradition, this would be a winner.
Salvacion The second dish to arrive and what a surprise! The quality of the shrimp and the way it was cooked were exceptional. Paired with their sauces, salsa, and tortilla chips… Chef’s kiss!
Fried Spring Rolls Lumpia with heart and heritage. This dish is a must-try! The story behind how it’s made is inspiring, walang sayang. We loved the blue cheese dip so much, we had to order an extra serving.
Garlic Rice Skip the plain rice. Trust me. Their garlic rice is flavorful and the perfect match to all their dishes. You won’t regret it!
SERVICE: Shoutout to the server who made our experience even better, attentive, friendly, and genuinely warm. I forgot his name, but I’ll surely remember his smile when I return!
AMBIANCE: Vibrant and festive! CEV is full of good vibes, good design, and good people. Even the restroom is spotless! 🕺🏻💃🏻

Verdict: A must-visit in Siargao. CEV isn’t just a restaurant, it’s an...
Read moreThe food at this restaurant was absolutely splendid, perfectly complementing the ocean vibe of Siargao. Since I was expecting a lot of seafood, I was thrilled to find that this place truly captures the essence of beachside dining. It was my first time trying ceviche, and I wasn’t sure what to expect. While it shares similarities with kinilaw, there are noticeable differences, and after tasting it, I can confidently agree with others who say their ceviche is outstanding.
Their fish ball dish was seasoned exceptionally well—though the servings were small, which is expected for an appetizer. Beyond the food, I was also impressed by the restaurant’s customer service. The staff was very attentive and even informed us ahead of time that the comfort rooms were out of order and that water might not be available. Despite the waiting time, we understood that good restaurants are often busy, so we remained patient.
I also appreciated their smooth card payment process since I prefer cashless transactions. One thing I would like to point out is that perhaps, in the future, they could upgrade their space to accommodate more guests comfortably. The restaurant has an outdoor setting, and it feels like a small house that was recently converted into a dining establishment. I hope they continue to grow and expand, and I genuinely wish them success.
Overall, I had a fantastic experience, and I will definitely return. I highly recommend this place to anyone...
