Overall do not recommend this dive shop.

Our instructor ends up to be Clurch, thank you! Really nice coach! We all like him, and that’s the only star I would like to give. We enjoyed our underwater session with him!

Reason why I don’t recommend: On the day when we make reservations, we paid in full, and the morning we come, staff asked several times on paying the balance. Why don’t you just keep good documentation and handoff the knowledge correctly between staff. Because we spent a lot of time explaining what we booked and how much we paid, even we came on time, the fins are first come first serve, we didn’t get the fins that fit us which we reserved on the day. What’s completely unacceptable and ridiculous is that the instructor Jan immediately blame on us not bringing socks, which is recommended but not mandatory on the message she showed us. Also, she is very rude at us, saying it’s all because we are late and trying to blame everything on us. Oh, btw people arrived later us got fin earlier than us. Jan greeted us and said she will be our instructor. We signed up for line session, but she didn’t provide coaching in the dive shop at all. She asked us to listen to intro class, as well as fun dive class. We don’t really know which group we belong to, and everything is completely a mess. We clearly stated that we are certified pool diver and we would like to learn new techniques, and all the instructions she gave us is “everyone’s sinus is different, frenzel didn’t work overnight” she didn’t even show us how to do that. What’s instructor for then? If the expectation is that you learn it yourself, what are we paying for? Is this a dive center or just simply gear rental? When we head off to the shore Jan said Clurch is actually our instructor. She said more than 3 times that she will be our instructor and after all, she is not?? This is your professionalism and customer service? Are you actually providing the service or just kicking the ball? While booking, we clearly called out we’ll be here for two weeks, and we are good with reschedule if it’s too many people that day. Funny thing is that today is the most people they’ve ever seen according to the registration. Clearly, they just say yes as take money, after that they just dont care about customer experience at all We don’t really care about level 3 instructor or something. This dive shop is not PADI or SSI certified anyways. Arrogance is completely unacceptable and unethical. Bring you appreciation and NEVER EVER treat anyone like this.

First, the tour management today was highly disorganized. We arrived by 7:55, and this can be confirmed with camera footage. When we responded to the Instagram message, we had already been on site for 20 minutes. The situation was extremely chaotic, and no one informed us of what we needed to do.

Second, we signed up for line training, but no one led the session. For over an hour, we were shuffled around with no dedicated instruction. Third, Coach Jen’s attitude was quite arrogant. She told us, “I don’t necessarily have to tell you everything,” which seemed dismissive. At the start, she assured us repeatedly that she would be our coach. But once we reached the shore, she informed us that another coach would take over, claiming it was so we could stay with our friend. Her attitude made it clear she didn’t want to teach us. This should have been communicated upfront, rather than misleading us and then expecting us to respect and follow her instructions. Additionally, in her review response, Jen said we weren’t suited for her section without ever assessing our skill level. It’s also unclear if the students she was working with had certifications. Her comments showed a level of arrogance that’s not appropriate for a professional instructor.
