Ocean City — Restaurant in Iloilo City

This location was recommended by family as being a good restaurant with good food and safe practices.

Unfortunately it was not up to the standards of what a good restaurant entails. Went here for dinner on a Weeknkght night, ordered oysters salt and pepper shrimp, blue Merlin and veggies yet all the food had a weird chemical taste. I also had diarrhea that same night so it's apparent that there is something in the food. Service was lacking as they weren't as attentive or welcoming as other places. Coupled with the higher than normal prices this place is not worth it especially with how rundown and lack of lighting. I've seen better around Iloilo. I had also witnessed an employee who handles food use the washroom and then not wash their hands... Two of them, not just one. It is disgusting that management allows their employees to return to work from using the washroom without washing their hands.

Overall would definitely not recommend this place to visit. Perhaps it is okay for locals but for international...

We were looking for a restaurant with private sections that is quiet for a family meeting and we found this. The food were actually good, not the best in terms of taste but were served warm and very nice plating/presentation but serving size is pretty small or I'm just so used to usual generous Chinese restaurant servings haha. Servers however seemed distant and acted as if they were very tired or uninterested and to think we were there for an early dinner (around 5:30 pm), no one at the restaurant except for another private section for what seems to be an office party. Meaning, they just started serving guests. We still left the servers good tip though since it was around Christmas🎄time. I just hope the management are treating them well and...

If you want to have lunch quickly in this area, I would highly suggest this place. They have prepared meals available near the entrance, turo-turo style, which they can serve you quickly.

The main area of the restaurant is open air, and has a small stage where entertainers could perform. They also have private rooms you could reserve beforehand and a menu you could order from if you're willing to wait. They have a good variety of food that has a pretty homemade feel them, and the staff are always polite and helpful. The parking area is pretty spacious so it's easy to park your car unless it's holiday.
