Starbucks SM City Iloilo — Restaurant in Iloilo City

This happened a few weeks ago, when I got there the place was packed. I went here and asked if they have outlets as most Coffeeshops do, I was prepared to buy a good amount of food and drinks for my stay.

The staff however gave me a certain look discerning my clothes, and disheveled appearance - mind you I was wearing my “pambahay clothes” and a hoodie because it was a grungy Monday, I had so much deadlines for that day and it was raining heavily. I did not have the time to get all dressed up.

The staff told me the outlets weren’t working and I should try the charging stations located at ground floor of the mall. When I went to the ground floor I asked security if they had a charging station at the ground floor.

I didn’t want to argue because honestly why bother but when I scanned the other tables had their devices out and they were charging.

Unbelievable, I’ve never experienced this when I visit Iloilo. Whoever that staff was I hope they do refresher course on discriminating...

Just around 2:30 pm 3 of us (my husband,my daughter and entered Sturbucks At SM City Iloilo near gate 6. There is only one table empty but still with try and used paper cups and utensils at the top. Before we order our snacks, we called the crew to clean the table for us to use.He just removed the said tray but never sanitize or wipe the table considering the pandemic time.The worse thing happened was, when we got up walkin g down the escalator, I saw my daughter left and cleaning d table. We called her to come down but she whispered to us that she was told by the guywearing white shortjack shirt/Romac to clean as you go. My husband got mad because this is the only branch that did it to us..We brought our daughter her in SM city as a graduation treat for her but for us all, its a bad treatment for us especially to our child. We use to have our coffee inStarbucks Manila and they are all in good custumers service not like her in Iloilo SM...

Ok. No complaints about the atmosphere and the ambience of the store, Starbucks always have a chill vibe to it. I don't have an issue but I just would like to raise that this specific Starbucks in SM Iloilo doesn't have the same taste when it comes to their drinks. I mean it's not consistent with the ones I've had from other starbucks from other places here in Manila and Bulacan and even in Pampanga. I always order these drinks called Iced Ruby Grapefruit and Iced Pomegranate Pearls. These are the only drinks I'd order from Starbucks, including Matcha Frappe if I feel like it. It doesn't taste the same. I mean, I don't wanna be biased coz I haven't tried other starbucks in Iloilo but unlike in Manila, Pampanga and Bulacan they all have the same distinct taste to it when it comes to those drinks. I don't know, maybe it's just me but maybe you can try and find out for yourselves and Please I would love to get your input on...
