𝐌𝐲 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐨’𝐬 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 (𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟔𝐏𝐌 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐇𝐚𝐜𝐤!) Last night, I finally got to visit Theo’s with my friends! Although I’ve tried their pastries before through various pop-up booths, this was my first time actually dining at the restaurant. We ordered the chef’s specials and their best-sellers. First up was the 𝑃𝑖𝑧𝑧𝑎 𝐹𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑐𝑎, their take on a pepperoni pizza. The flavor was light, and all the toppings complemented each other perfectly. Next, we had the 𝐶ℎ𝑖𝑐𝑘𝑒𝑛 𝐶ℎ𝑖𝑚𝑖𝑐ℎ𝑢𝑟𝑟𝑖. The chicken was already flavorful and juicy on its own, but when dipped in the chimichurri sauce, it brought the dish to a whole new level with its vibrant, zesty kick. Lastly, we tried the 𝑆𝑒𝑎𝑓𝑜𝑜𝑑 𝐴𝑔𝑙𝑖𝑜 𝑂𝑙𝑖𝑜. As a seafood lover, I enjoyed the combination of shrimp and scallops in the pasta. However, I found the cheese and oil a bit overwhelming—I was expecting a lighter version, simply tossed in garlic and olive oil. Still, overall, the food was good and the prices were fair, ranging from ₱400 to ₱600. And did you know? At 𝟔 𝐏𝐌, all their pastries are 𝟓𝟎% 𝐨𝐟𝐟! Since everything was half-price, I grabbed a few of the remaining pastries at the counter. I ended up buying the entire Mochi Donut Series: • Pistachio Mochi Donut • Biscoff Mochi Donut • Mango Mochi Donut • Almond “Marzipan” Mochi Donut • Tablea “Milk Choco” Mochi Donut And of course, I couldn’t resist grabbing a few more: • Calamansi Curd Cronuts • Coco Choco • Matcha Swirl

I’ve visited this branch several times, and the ambiance is always great, perfect for dining with family and friends. The decor is beautiful, and the food is consistently good, especially the bread selection. However, on a recent visit, the service was disappointing. I greeted the cashier but he seemed too busy to care asking how he could help, so I had to initiate the conversation to place a to-go order. When he handled my bread selection, I didn’t notice at first, but later realized he didn’t change his gloves after handling the register. By the time I realized, he had already placed the bread in the take-out box. I was confused and disappointed, but couldn’t say anything at that point. He also left my order unfinished on the counter (he didn’t bother packing my order or charge me) and walked away to make drinks, and passed me off to another staff member, who seemed just as confused about why the previous guy hadn’t finished my order. Then he confirmed that he hadn’t changed his gloves since he then gave cash change to a delivery rider wearing the same pair of gloves… It was clear he didn’t understand the importance of wearing gloves properly when handling both food and cash… Overall, this place still has good food and a nice atmosphere, but the service needs a bit of improvement. I hope they address this hygiene issue in the future.

First, let me say because this needs to be addressed. Prices are fair for what you receive. Don't go, expecting sbarro prices and unli rice, then give a 3 star review because you don't like the prices. This is a higher end establishment, and what they deliver is a higher end experience. The wait staff are well trained, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. The dining area itself is well designed and pleasingly comfortable. The specialty drinks are excellent and very inventive. That brings us to the star of the show the food. A nice non over crowded menu. Hits on all points from appetizers to main courses. All well cooked, plated and in portions more to satisfy. I'm picky especially with service and each time I've been, I have always left satisfied never thinking...wow I paid too much. Experiences like this are what Iloilo needs, to show we can easily compete and surpass the Cebu and Manila food scenes. I didn't touch on any of the food specifics because I just felt the need to give an overall experience to address undeserved star ratings based on prices. (Which to be fair aren't really that much higher than some other newer restaurants in town.) I'll definitely be giving a review based on the food etc. Bottom line a must try and great place to bring out of towners who you want to impress with a great culinary experience in Iloilo.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Theo’s, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the friendly staff, who promptly seated me in a cozy corner booth.

The ambiance of Theo’s is both elegant and inviting. Soft lighting, tasteful decor, and soothing background music create a relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere. It's the perfect setting for an intimate dinner or a celebratory gathering.

The menu at Theo’s offers a remarkable selection of culinary delights that cater to various palates. I couldn't resist trying their signature dish the, Paella Negra. The presentation was impeccable, with each element carefully arranged to please the eye. And the taste? Absolutely divine! The freshness of the Pulpo was evident, and the flavors were expertly balanced.

What truly sets Theo’s apart is their exceptional attention to detail and dedication to quality. The ingredients used are of the highest standard, resulting in dishes that burst with flavor. The chef's expertise shines through in every bite, and the creative combinations of ingredients are a delightful surprise for the taste buds.

To top off the evening, I indulged in their exquisite bread selection. The Biscoff Cheesecake Kouign Aman was a true masterpiece, with a rich, gooey center that melted in my mouth. It was the perfect ending to an unforgettable dining experience.

In summary, Theo’s is a gem in the culinary landscape in Iloilo City. With its impeccable service, inviting ambiance, and remarkable cuisine, it's a restaurant that deserves the highest praise. Whether you're a food enthusiast or someone seeking an extraordinary dining experience, Theo’s is a must-visit...
