First and foremost, all the staff: FrontDesk, Bellmen, SecurityGuards, Housekeeping - these guys are doing a very excellent job. They are very efficient, very courteous and very professional. The problem really lies in the building facilities and maintenance. On my recent vacation, I booked in this hotel twice. The first room I got was ok, no issues. The second room I got has got a lot of issues. Bearable but annoying. First, the airconditioning unit was leaking water. Second, the shower head is clogged and not much water is coming out of it. Third, the faucet by the sink (outside the bathroom), is spraying water all over the place when you try to use it and it rendered useless 😡. The room that my sister booked for her family, they came in one day with a very foul odor and it was discovered coming from the sink. They were relocated though. They have three small elevators and only two is working the whole time I was there. The two elevators that were working were not functioning properly and couple times it stopped and we were stuck in it for a minute or two 😡🤬. Our reservation included a breakfast buffet but the whole 8 days that we were there, the same set of food were served everyday. They would switch one item every now and then though and all the food they served were 🤮. It wasn't super bad but close. I have to be honest, the only food item that I like is the bacon that tasted like a chinese ham. If you show up at the last hour, you'll end up eating rice and maybe omelette. They have bread too but you know they've been sitting there for days/weeks for they were freaking hard. They have pancit (noodle) one time but even that was plain bad - how can you mess up the pancit? I really challenge the management to try and eat what they're serving to their guests so they'll know what I'm talking about here. When I asked the attendant of how much will it cost for a walk-in guest to have breakfast buffet, I believe she said P400 - that is the biggest joke! Will I come back here or recommend this hotel? Until I hear from someone who stayed there that these issues were resolved, maybe yes. Hopefully the hotel management will look at these issues and resolve it. A lot of potential but just need to fix their issues on Maintenance and Breakfast Food...
Read moreOur stay at Injap Tower Hotel Iloilo was a mix of positives and negatives.
The Good:
The staff were courteous and accommodating, which made interactions pleasant.
Check-in was smooth and hassle-free, allowing us to settle in quickly.
Convenient Location: The hotel is in a prime spot, directly across SM City Iloilo, accessible via a footbridge, and just a 5-minute walk away.
Easy to Find: It’s centrally located and easy to locate, making it a hassle-free choice for travelers.
Convenience Store: There’s a 7-Eleven right beside the lobby, which is handy for quick snacks and essentials.
Room Features: While the room is small, it comes with bath amenities, a microwave, and a refrigerator, adding to its convenience.
The Bad:
Towel Issues: Upon check-in, there were no towels in the room. The staff said their towels were delayed. When they finally provided them, they looked old and worn.
Still No Towels?! Two days later, when we asked for fresh towels, we were given bathrobes instead because they were still having towel problems. This is unacceptable—hotels should not struggle with basic necessities like towels.
The Ugly:
Housekeeping Protocol Issues: When we requested towels, their staff opened our room door without knocking! We were inside and completely shocked—thankfully, we were fully clothed. This is a serious breach of privacy and should never happen. Staff should always knock and ensure the room is unoccupied before entering.
Poor WiFi Signal: The WiFi was really bad, making it difficult to stay connected.
Outdated TV: The TV could use an upgrade, as the quality wasn’t great.
Power Outage on Checkout Day: There was a power outage on the day we checked out. While the hotel has generators, the elevators weren’t working, which made it really inconvenient, especially for guests with luggage.
Overall Verdict:
Injap Tower Hotel Iloilo offers great location and room convenience, but it seriously needs to fix its towel supply issues, improve housekeeping protocols, and upgrade its WiFi and TV. The power outage and non-working elevators during checkout were another downside. With some improvements, this could be a much better stay, but as of now, it leaves a lot...
Read moreOur recent stay at your hotel was, in many ways, close to perfect. The warm hospitality extended by your staff, the delightful breakfast offerings, and the overall ambiance of the hotel all made for a memorable experience. These elements truly lived up to our expectations and are worth commending.||However, despite the many positives, there were two unfortunate incidents that greatly affected the quality of our stay — both of which, we believe, deserve urgent attention.||The first involved the swimming pool. While enjoying what was supposed to be a relaxing moment, I stepped on a tile inside the pool that was completely detached. It gave way beneath my foot and sank into the water. In that brief second, I was caught off guard, nearly losing my balance. Had it been a child or someone less cautious, it could have led to a serious injury. Pools are meant to be safe and inviting, but in that moment, it felt risky and neglected. It’s alarming to think what could have happened if the situation had been worse.||The second and most distressing issue happened inside our hotel room. As we were preparing to leave for a very important meeting, we found ourselves unable to exit. The door mechanism had failed, and we were effectively locked inside the room for about 15 minutes. In those minutes, we felt helpless, frustrated, and anxious — especially as the clock kept ticking and we realized we were going to be late. Unfortunately, this delay caused us to miss our scheduled appointment, forcing a last-minute rescheduling. It was not just inconvenient; it was deeply disappointing and avoidable.||We sincerely hope that these matters, particularly concerning guest safety and room maintenance, are treated with the seriousness they deserve. A beautiful hotel experience should never come with the fear of potential harm or the stress of being trapped in one’s own room.||Please ensure that proper checks are done in advance to guarantee guest safety and comfort. We chose your hotel with trust — trust that we hope will be rebuilt through improvements and preventive actions.||Thank you for taking the time to hear our feedback. We look forward to seeing changes should we...
