Chowking — Restaurant in Lapu-Lapu

My recent experience at Chowking was nothing short of disappointing. I had to endure a long wait of 30 minutes, only to witness the staff prioritizing customers who arrived after me, leaving me frustrated and questioning their sense of fairness. But what made matters worse was the quality of the food I received.

Firstly, the lauriat I ordered was tasteless and soggy. It lacked any distinct flavors, making it a bland and unappetizing meal. I believe that a fast food chain should at least strive for consistent taste and quality, but Chowking fell short in this regard.

To add insult to injury, both the chicken and sweet and sour pork dishes were excessively salty. It seemed as though the kitchen had gone overboard with the seasoning, rendering the dishes nearly inedible.

Furthermore, even the buchi, which is typically a simple and enjoyable treat, was not up to par. The texture was off, and the overall taste was far from satisfying. It felt like a waste of money to order an item that didn't meet even the basic standards of quality.

Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Chowking (Gaisano Grandmall Basak branch) to anyone. The combination of subpar food and the frustrating wait time made this visit a complete waste of both my time and money. I expected better from a fast food chain that has been around for so long, but sadly, they failed to deliver.

The service staff was rude, ddnt give all orders we paid instead we are the ones asking one by one and ddnt even give spoon and fork and felt terrible seeing she only priorities those late comers but one senior citizen with family waiting too long for his food and one senior citizen can't walk asking her to give his food instead she keeps on calling his number and she saw him but just puts the food on the serving table where many grab ppl waiting also for their orders.. horrific scene.. The worst, they don't know how to greet politely. I know it can be very exhausting but at least try a bit to politely do your job, this was like the third time. They made us wait for an hour and a half and turns out our food was already there. The device they give didn't flash or make a sound.
