I chose it because it was a good price. It is at the end of a small lane, about 500mtrs down off the main road. Not all Taxi drivers know it. ||It took about 30 minutes from the airport, mainly due to constant traffic jam.||You pass by local homes in the lane and a couple of homestays to get to the end. The property is behind 2 very big gates.||The property has 10 rooms that I could see. I was allocated room 5, the furtherest away from Reception.||Receptionist Jasmine is professional and efficient in what she does despite her casual easy going nature. Actually all staff I encountered were very friendly and easy going. It made me feel very comfortable.||The rooms are basic but comfortable. Had a tv, large bar fridge and air con.||Bathroom has old but functioning fittings. The shower was only cold water but is separate from air con bedroom. ||As the entrance to the cottage is a heavy duty security screen and letting hot air to the bathroom, cold is all I needed.||I could not get wifi reception in this room as I was to far away from the modem in reception.||Smoking is allowed in Philippine food areas. One guest complained to the owner and his mate who was smoking at the bar while he was having dinner. They silently moved away to finish their smokes.||I was taken with the food quality here and the prices. Both excellent value.||Eggs for breakfast + juice and coffee. Ham and cheese sandwich and soft drink for lunch. Schnitzel and chips with a few beers = total around $30AUD.||The spaghetti bolognaise i had one night was easily the best Ive ever had. The sauce was yum.||There is an outdoor kitchen if you choose to cook for yourself.||It is next to a large pool and spa that was spotlessly clean.||There is a large supermarket about a 10 minute walk away.||There are rabbits that are let out of their cages to roam around.||Neighbours chickens will wake you at 5.30am.||The neighbours are all friendly enough if you wave and smile first.||I hired a motorbike from reception for 500peso a day.||It was a 300peso taxi ride...
Read moreMaybe it's the worst hotel in the LAPULAPU town!!!! And it's really the worst hotel I've ever been!!!! There are much more choices in the town. And the location are much better. About this hotel! the owner was rude!!! I didn't book the room on Internet. And the owner told me the price was 1800P at 7 am When I came to that unbelievable place. And they didn't mention any extra charge. When I check out, they told me there was 800P extra charge for early check in. I m really pissed about this. Because no one told me or mention this before!!! And when we get in that room at 8am. My friend turned on the air-condition about 2 mins. The waitress came in and turned it off. So we just do as she said. If we know we need to pay this, we will turn that on because the room was really hot! And so many mosquitos!!!! The owner blame me for didn't ask about the extra!!! Who will ask the extra charge after ask the...
Read moreAwesome experience, nothing bad I can say! The owners and staff are so friendly and welcoming. Check in was at 1pm but the let us check in early. Opened the pool late for us so we could go for a swim and have the pool to ourselves. Beautiful little resort with a nice vibe and well maintained garden and pool. Restaurant offered cheap spirits and beers that you can drink on your terrace or by the pool. Rooms were kept clean and had air-con, comfortable beds and provided with fresh linen and towels. Close to the mall and other sari sari stores, just a 250m walk along the locals lane but nobody bothers you, everyone was so friendly as we walked by and if it rains there's a scooter to transport you over the puddles! A must stay if you're looking for something affordable but still luxurious. Also, the pet bunnies were the cherry on top! Would...
