Last night visited the McDonald's location near me for a take-away order, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. Upon arrival, the staff informed me that I would need to wait for 10-15 minutes due to some issues with their system. Understanding that delays can happen, I decided to wait patiently with my senior citizen father.
However, the wait ended up being much longer than anticipated. We waited for over 15 minutes, which was quite frustrating, especially considering my father's condition. Throughout this time, I noticed that the manager and staff present were unapologetic and unapproachable. Their lack of empathy towards customers waiting was evident.
What struck me as particularly unprofessional was the behavior of the staff members. They were shouting and raising their voices, even in the presence of customers. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable, especially in the hospitality industry, where customer service should be a top priority.
Overall, I was disappointed with the poor customer service I encountered during my visit to this McDonald's location. The unapologetic and unprofessional attitude displayed by the manager and staff left a negative impression. I believe that there is a clear need for better training in customer service and professionalism for the employees at this particular location.
I hope that McDonald's takes this review into consideration and addresses the issues mentioned. Improving customer service and creating a more welcoming and respectful environment should be a priority for them. As a loyal customer, I expect better from a renowned fast-food chain...

After attempting to place an order, the screen displayed an error message, yet payment was already deducted from my GCash account. When I sought assistance from the attendant and the manager, they instructed me to pay again in cash at the counter. Since I did not have enough cash on hand, they canceled the order and assured me that a refund would be processed within one day. Read moreI’ve been a frequent customer here, and to best sum up all my experiences, I would have to say this is one of the worst McDonald’s I have ordered and eaten from. Customer service is slow, despicably slow, both FoodPanda and Dine-in. One of their managers is negligent and can often be seen just looking at her phone. Not to mention how many problems I’ve had with this store, they always screw up FoodPanda orders and their menu is often lackluster as in a lot of their menu items are unavailable when other McDonald’s stores have it (FoodPanda or Dine-in). That’s why I always have to order from another McDonald’s. Also, it takes so much time for them to get their food ready compared to other stores. It pretty much looks as though this store is plagued with staff issues.
If you see this McDonald’s admin, I definitely recommend you do a random full review of this store, preferably undercover or in secret. This store would perform horribly. It has quality control issues.
I love your McDo food, but I’d much rather order McDo Mactan than McDo Basak (here). At least there, they have their things cut...
