Pho19 - Mactan 포19 막탄점 — Restaurant in Lapu-Lapu

Absolutely fantastic Vietnamese restaurant. I used them for Grab orders; I ate there numerous times in person. Their pho is perfect (go for the bigger portion), the bahn mi is amazing (both the chicken and the pork). I had their salad and their rice dish too and I regularly went in just to have Vietnamese coffee. Their basil calamansi drink is amazing too, so as their spring rolls! The best about the place - apart from the fantastic food - is the staff! The young people working there are amazing - super attentive and kind. Once they made me a bahn mi even though I was there before they opened - just wanted to grab some food before a flight. Also, as they noticed that I love the coffee; once I was gifted an extra coffee when I bought a take away for a next day breakfast. It was such a lovely touch, it literally brought tears in my eyes. Phó is a vietnamese broth that is filled with basil and noodles. It is much lighter than Ramen. Personally, I haven't tasted phó yet. This is my opinion of our food experience:

Presentation 10/10 I was happy with the Instagram-able dishes! Nice cups and the dishes (especially the coffee) were creatively presented.

Taste 7/10 The phó was okay but it can be better. The herb is so strong as an aftertaste that it doesn't give you an overall feeling of warmth. The chicken was not dry at all! It tasted juicy and the sauces compliment the taste. The spring rolls were bland alone but when dipped with the sauce provided an intense kick! Super intense that your eyes will open wide.

Ambience: The place was fresh and clean. It looked like a cafe. The displays look like detergents.
