We were on our return flight from CEB to ILO when we dropped by here for early dinner.
First, I loved the whole vibe of the place. I loved that it was located right beside the sea. It was inside Cebu Yacht Club. There were yachts anchored across the place wc made the view even more vibrant. There were fishes that I can easily view from my spot, wc I really enjoyed the whole time. Video attached 😉
Second, serving time was so fast! I didnt expect our orders to come in so quickly. There were five of us. We ordered (first round): 1 Calamares PHP 345 1 Kropek PHP 105 1 Adobo Squid with Ata PHP 345 1 Lemon Grass Chicken PHP 335 1 Grilled Pompano PHP 435 1 Platter of rice PHP 125
The Adobo Squid with Ata was the star for our family, they asked for a second order of the same dish and another platter of rice to savor the rich Ata of the Adobo Squid. I actually loved it too. But I personally loved the Grilled Pompano. I was alone eating the fish as they feasted on the Adobo Squid. They loved the Adobo Squid too much they almost forgot about the Chicken. But my mom said the Chicken also tasted so good, just that she's focused on the squid 😂 I can't eat the Chicken since I'm on a fish and seafood diet for the whole of lent.
Third, the service was excellent!
Overall, I enjoyed my first experience at Seafood Boil. I hope the excellent food and service is maintained throughout the years. I can't wait to come back and try the...
Read moreThis is my second time dining here. We're a group of 34, our lunch time is 11AM-12NN, the reason why we ordered beforehand and even payed in advance. We ordered 3 barkada meals, one barkada meal cost 4999. They said they cannot cook in advance if we don't give downpayment. So we payed 10,000 in advance. When we arrive, the table is ready. But the serving of the food is so slow. We asked the manager why the food is not ready. And they said that they assumed that we only ordered 1 barkada meal. Hence, we need to wait again for 20-30 mins. Really? We paid 10k in advance and assume we only ordered 1 barkada meal that cost 4999? Common sense. When we are about to finish eating, one of my workmates noticed that the lumpia shanghai was not served. We asked and confirmed that indeed it was not served so they hurriedly cooked it so we can have it as take out. As we arrived in the office, I tried the lumpia and surprise, it's not cooked. It's a kinda stressful...
Read moreI regret coming here; don't get fooled because of the photos, it looked good in pictures but it actually taste bad. Should have opted for Lantaw or indulged in bucket shrimps. Even Jollibee would have been a better choice. The food was overly salty – esp the butter garlic shrimps. The sinigang lacked sourness, and the crispy pata wasn't crispy AT ALL - we surely have tasted smth better. The Bucket A set, for a price of 2k, turned out to be surprisingly small. They even added more mussels to make it seem like more. The cooler tasted like medicine, and overall, I just don't understand their food. For a 500 pesos price, the takeout shrimps had only 6 pieces. Also ordered the classic canton, has not tasted it yet. The service wasn't that accommodating too, although the view was good. I wish another restaurant occupied this spot; would not recommend it. AVOID THIS RESTAURANT ; NOT WORTH YOUR...
