Vue Dine & Drink — Restaurant in Lapu-Lapu

I was genuinely excited to try the food at Vue Dine and Drink during our trip to Cebu, especially since their menu featured some of our favorite dishes. However, our anticipation quickly turned into disappointment when we arrived at the venue.

We had planned to visit for breakfast, but despite their advertised opening time of 9 AM, we ended up waiting for an hour with no staff in sight. Hunger eventually got the best of us, and we had to reluctantly abandon our plans and seek sustenance elsewhere.

It was a missed opportunity, as we were eager to sample their menu and savor the dishes we had been looking forward to. Vue Dine and Drink's location near the airport and the scenic view of the yachts in the vicinity made it an appealing choice.

This restaurant is clearly on the decline. The only thing it has going for it is the view- everything else was a disappointment. The service was abysmal. It took over an hour for our nachos to arrive, and when they finally did, they were stone cold. Their Long Island Iced Tea was so overloaded with alcohol it tasted like someone had just mixed Nestea with a liter of GSM. For an establishment that tries to present itself as high-end, the experience was anything but. The menu is outdated, and to make matters worse, the prices aren't reflected on the bill. What kind of scam is this? Are we supposed to ask for the price of every single item before ordering? What's the point of having a menu then? To top it all off, they don't accept any form of electronic payment--not GCash, not credit cards, nothing. It's 2025, and you're still cash-only? Completely unacceptable for any business, let alone one that pretends...

the food and service is excellent!! the price is very affordable and this is a very discreet place, and i love it that way. if there's one thing that they can improve in is the atmosphere of the place, when getting dinner here, the place is too dim and you can't really see your food (excellent food btw w/ very gracious amount of service per plate). i suggest that you may need more lights inside the place, and the atmosphere (interior design) can be better! i can see the room for improvement. overall, really good place to dine!
