This place was recommended to me by relatives when visiting the city, and I have to say this place was phenomenal! Just for reference, this place used to be located on another street nearby so my grab driver (based on his navigation app) almost dropped us off at the wrong location. The place is located on Pascua Street. The restaurant is very beautifully designed, hip and eclectic. It is a locally owned business owned by a Filipino family. The staff was very quick and attentive and friendly and made sure to check on my table regularly to see if we needed anything. As for the food, it was just some of the most delicious Filipino food I have ever tasted. I’m not a vegetarian or vegan by any means, by I sure do appreciate delicious food when I taste it! It makes me so happy to see a vegan/vegetarian friendly restaurant offer actual Filipino food that is plant-based and not all pork and beef. I ordered several dishes that were all delicious, but my most favorite was their sisig!! I really do recommend trying this place at least once. It’s great quality food and it’s not expensive at all given the quality and quantity of the food they give you. For a table of 2, after ordering like 7 or so dishes , the bill was around Php 600, and honestly, I should’ve taken the leftovers to go, but I couldn’t stop eating the food. The food didn’t leave me with the groggy, greasy feeling I usually get after eating a lot of meat like adobo and lechon. The place also offers catering too which is awesome if you’re having a party or something. They also do food delivery too via grab and other food...
Read moreThis is the 4th day in a row we've ate at Greenery and first, if your looking for the best tasting Vegan food, this restaurant's probably offers the best in the archipelago.
The ala cart food tastes good as the original without the guilt of eating slaughtered animals. Their Malunggay dilis is a staple favorite and their Kare Kare, menudo, chop suey, kaldereta are all delicious without the MSG!
We've ordered their CAKES however they were frozen solid so it was hard to enjoy. It was literally like biting a soft rock so while the cake tasted good, the eating experience wasn't the most ideal (with the pandemic, I understand they have to freeze their food to make them last longer however something else should be worked on)
Another inconvenience, we tried booking Grab but Greenery's old address in Kalayaan Ave shows up in Grab's database instead of their new address in E. Pascua street. We had to cancel our rides several times so bear this in mind if your booking a Grab ride to and out of Greenery
The staff is courteous except when playing Pinoy heavy rap music one time at lunch which we told them to tone down the volume (I mean who eats with that kind of music played over during a meal)? Thankfully they turned the music off
These are small rants and what keeps us going to Greenery is THE FOOD. So if you can stomach some of the inconvenience, this is still the must eat Vegan place in the...
Read moreI first found them through Instagram when I was looking for vegan food delivery options. I did their weekly lunch delivery service and was quite impressed--had a good meal variety, delivered fresh and warm (works best for those on IF because BGC deliveries arrive between 12-1), affordable and most importantly, delicious! One day, I worked from home and told them not to deliver to the office and just deliver to my house. However, they don't deliver in my area so I Googled their location only to find out that their kitchen/restaurant is just a 5-minute drive from my house! I just went over to their restaurant to pickup my order and upon looking at their interesting menu, I said to myself "I'll try each and every one of these." So far, my favorites are: Sisilog, shawarma rice, Korean barbecue, kare kare pati yung parang mushroom chips! Yep, all vegan! Great job pricing these healthy options to make it accessible to more, keep up the great work...
