Complaint Regarding Poor Service and Staff Behavior at Ayala Circuit Branch – May 10, 2025
On May 10, 2025, around lunchtime, my family and I dined at your Ayala Circuit branch for a quick lunch. We expected some delay with our orders due to the lunchtime rush, which we completely understood. We ordered meals along with "halo-halo" for dessert.
While the food arrived after quite some time, the halo-halo did not arrive with the rest of the order which was fine, since we intended it for dessert anyway. However, even after we finished eating, our halo-halo still had not been served.
I approached the counter to follow up, and a waiter instructed me to just sit and wait for the buzzer to ring once the halo-halo was ready. We waited again, but it took far too long. I came back to follow up once more, and that’s when I saw a staff member named Gal preparing the halo-halo. Another customer was also waiting for his order at the time.
This time, I decided not to return to my seat and instead waited near the counter, as going back and forth was a hassle—especially since we were seated outside. I was trying to be understanding despite the inconvenience.
What I could not understand, however, was the attitude of the staff named Gal. Once she finished preparing the halo-halo, she slammed the tray on the counter and handed it over for dispatch. She then said, "O ayan na mga halo-halo niyo, isaksak niyo sa baga niyo mga di kayo makapaghintay."
I and the other customer were both fuming mad. That is completely unacceptable and extremely rude.
Do you not have a code of conduct for your employees? We waited patiently, and that’s what we get in return? Sana kung ayaw tumanggap ng order, sinabi beforehand, hindi yung babastusin pa kami sa huli.
I am in the Food & Beverage industry, and I find this behavior very disturbing. Having staff like that is very unhealthy for business. I understand you are a commercial fast food chain, but incidents like this should never be tolerated.
Please take appropriate action regarding this matter. I hope to hear back from your team regarding what will be done.

Read moreThe customer service at this particular branch is noticeably poor. I had to request almost everything several times and consumed most of my time waiting for their personnel to attend to my needs.
I find their personnel to be lousy as well, as I am requesting something that is on hand and, to be frank, within my reach, but I just decided to politely ask, which is the right thing to do.
However, my patience and politeness will take me nowhere if I wasn't being acknowledged in the first place. I hate that I have to insist on my needs just to be given what's supposed to be given to customers in the first place.

I visited the Mang Inasal branch in Circuit, and sadly, the experience perfectly reflected its low 2.7 rating (73 reviews). The first thing that caught my attention was the so-called “live kitchen.” While it’s not uncommon in the Philippines, it was shocking to see an idle staff member mopping the floor right beside the grill while food was being cooked. There was absolutely no sense of hygiene or proper supervision — a clear sign of poor management.
At the counter, I ended up behind three elderly women arguing about a discount, which delayed the line for nearly 30 minutes. If the staff had simply opened the third register — which was closed — to handle the complaint separately, the queue would have moved quickly. Yet no one redirected customers or called for support. Everything was left unattended, giving the strong impression that no manager was present.
I ordered Chicken Inasal and a Coke. The seasoning was fine, but the meat was extremely tough — disappointing for what should be their signature dish. Perhaps the low prices make people tolerate such disorganized service, but improvement is impossible with this kind of management.
And worst of all, they don’t even respond to Google reviews. It seems they still haven’t realized that this low rating is entirely their own...
