(not a coffee enjoyer/don't drink it often, I just asked for something sweet)
TL:DR 6/10 Cozy cafe, good vibes, MALAMIG, maganda music. Food and coffee were average. I'd recommend it as long as it isn't full and malapit ka lang.
Arrived at 5:30 on a Tuesday - Place wasn't full, ~2 tables were free. High chair's hurt to sit on.
Place - Maluwag, no need for anyone already seated to scoot their chair para makadaan ung iba. Servers are able to pass with trays easily. Ingat lang dun sa step sa area sa left since biglang angat sya na ramp, suggest the place to mark it with tape. Malamig, dual split types, might be too cold pa nga? Didn't get to try the bathroom/I don't know if they had one.
Food - Chicken Pesto Pasta - 220 I think? Serving was a decent size, smaller than expected. taste was average, nothing to be blown away by. there were 4-5 pieces of chicken, not bite-sized pieces tho like 2 bites haha.
Carbonara - 220 also? i don't remember hehe Serving was also a decent size, not authentic carbonara which was fine but taste was honestly underwhelming. Get something else.
Drinks - Spanish latte - ~150 not really a coffee enjoyer, but this was great, I don't have a benchmark/gauge for what a good spanish is so take this review with a grain of salt. I honestly just wanted something sweet and this did it's job. good
Mocha something - ~150 Wasn't mine so this their review - Sweet and light, less sweet than the spanish.
Overall an okay cafe for the food, above average for the vibes + malamig. Recommended if malapit, not if malayo/more...
Read moreNot recommended at all. Seven out of eight of us had already ordered, yet the owner still approached us in a very rude way, insisting that everyone must order. His approach was unsettling, and the worst part was how he spoke to us so disrespectfully. We also felt uncomfortable knowing that he was constantly walking in and out while glancing at us, as if accusing some of us of not ordering. It was an unpleasant experience—something we’ve never encountered in any other coffee shop, not even in more affordable ones.
The experience was REALLY BAD. This place might be fine if you're alone or with just one other person, but if you're with a group of friends, be prepared to be monitored to see if everyone has ordered. It was uncomfortable and unwelcoming.
The coffee itself isn’t worth it. There are far better options elsewhere, and we’d rather go to Starbucks or other coffee shops that offer WiFi, a well-conditioned room, and a more welcoming atmosphere—unlike this place, which feels purely transactional. The ambiance and music were fantastic, and the employees were respectful, but we will never return because of the...
Read morethe place looks real nice, but the food doesn’t live up to it. feels like you’re paying more for the aesthetic than the actual food.
what I ordered & my thoughts
banana bread (₱75) – the only thing I actually liked. soft, fluffy na may pagka chiffon, and kinda tasted like banana (which should be a given, but some places mess that up). the chocolate chips were a nice touch.
carbonara (₱220) – the portion is for skinny hos, blink and it’s gone. if it tasted amazing, I wouldn’t complain, but it was just… bland. I did taste something, but it was basically all-purpose cream. also, the noodles were kinda chewy—not al dente, more like undercooked.
salty sirius latte (₱180) – first of all, is the salty in the room with us??? this was just straight-up bitter. and not the rich, deep coffee bitter—just the "something's off" kind.
final thoughts
go for the aesthetic, don't if you actually wanna enjoy your food, prolly not the best place. they need to work on flavors and portions. 3/5 for me. would I come back? maybe for the banana bread... ang mahal tas traffic pa...
