Cafe Elim — Restaurant in Mandaue

SERVERS ARE RUDE!!!! Not our first time. Today is the most terrible experience. We were there for less than 30 mins and we are not done yet with eating & drinking our beverage but the server cleared our table without saying anything as if asking us to leave. There was a plastic for the straw underneath my phone which is on the table and she picked up the plastic without care for my phone. It was such a RUDE GESTURE. Naa me bata so naikog pud me na she sometimes shout when we stop her from climbing but we definitely have no intention to stay long because kami man jud ang nag take care ra sa among anak. We unfortunately frequent there even if service is not good because I love the cake. One time we decided to sit outside we just got our food and they didn't even care to assist us to transfer when the door is difficult to open. We have a 2 year old that loves to climb and the stairs are very unsafe. I am not saying that this is a requirement but the stairs are not safe for old kids and adults too if di ka magbantay.

Their servers definitely needs to be trained to be more friendly and helpful. I am not sure what their jobs are but they are just standing in the counter because the customers are the ones who picks up the food and they don't assist the customers.

How to get there: When in AS Fortuna area, head out to The Space, where Jollibee is located. Cafe Elim is located within this complex.

Pros: a very very chill place nice ambience giving you that cozy feeling desserts galore. So many to choose from they also have regular entrees, but I have not tried that. very friendly and courteous staff

Cons: the price? Maybe pricey for some. Example would be a slice of cheesecake would be set at usually 100-120, but their prices are tagged at 160. Macarons are priced at 50 pesos per 1 piece, tho they have many flavors to choose from

In Conclusion:

After a heavy meal, I chanced upon this place by accident as I was craving for blueberry cheesecake, and they did not disappoint - it was delicious. Tho a bit pricey, but overall it is still worth coming to. I'd rather come here for the serenity feel and ambiance, rather than to other dessert shops located in malls where it is too noisy and one cannot relax and enjoy the food /...

From ordering via messenger to the delivery at home, the whole process was hassle free and smooth. The online representative was very polite and friendly when I asked if they could deliver early morning and if they had my desired cake available, they replied fast and answered my multiple questions.

The cake itself was so beautiful and delicious (ordered a blueberry cheesecake thats 7 inches) and I love how the dedication was on the base of the cake so I could add a lengthy description. The cafe also sells cake toppers and comes with a complimentary plastic knife with a compartment for free matchsticks which is so cute and convenient!

The cake was delivered via lalamove and the cafe was the one to book the rider. When it arrived it was in perfect condition.

Overall my experience with the store is 10/10 as a first time buyer from their cafe and online. Thank you once again Cafe Elim ☺️✨🎂 Will order...
