Usually, restaurants give freebies to people who celebrate birthdays in their place. This one, we bought a cake but they did not give any freebies (desserts or drinks).

The meat in their Meat Kaldereta is still chewy and it seems like it can still be cooked better.

The staff are nice, however, they failed to refill our water even after asking twice (had to ask for a third time).

Iconic that you can recognize it at first glance. It looks like an American roast chicken dinner with Filipino sensibilities: kamote fries with banana ketchup and a bronze, crispy whole chicken that's been deep-fried.

Max's chicken special is its lack of breading and deep-fried dry with just a coat of patis for flavor and color. The skin emerges crisp and beautifully browned, paired with a succulent interior.
