Not so fast food: Intramuros McDonald’s could do better 😕

We visited McDonald’s Muralla near Intramuros for a quick meal while exploring Manila.

Although there seemed to be plenty of staff on duty, the service was unexpectedly slow. Our order — just four burgers and two drinks — took about 45 minutes to be served. When I asked for an update after 30 minutes, staff acknowledged my question but didn’t follow up, which was disappointing.

The restaurant was very busy at lunchtime, with many students from nearby schools. Behind the counter, we noticed many … many trays of food sitting on a table for a long time. It seemed like there were process issues in how orders were delivered to customers.

The seating area is simple and functional, but nothing beyond the basics.

As for the food, it met McDonald’s standards — but just barely. The burgers were okay, but nothing more than that.

If you’re considering this branch for a quick meal in Intramuros, be aware that peak times can mean long waits and a busy atmosphere.

⚠️ During our visit, a few children approached us at the self-service kiosks, gently tapping and asking for food. This didn’t affect our rating, and we chose to include extra burgers for them. That said, visitors who might feel uncomfortable in such situations should be aware...

Their service is insanely bad! The WORST!! This testimony is my experience from repeated visits I have in this store since I study near the area. Of all the McDonald's chains I've been to, this is the SLOWEST, most INEFFICIENT service, and the servers just don't care about their customers at all! No matter how many or few the people, you'll get your order after an hour even if you just order one rice meal. Worst McDonald's branch ever. I hope their employees get proper training soon because it's getting really annoying to dine in here every time. (FOLLOW UPDATE: Their servers are so rude. You can't even ask for tissue or a glass of water without getting a dirty look and an annoyed tone, especially from the male servers)

Waiting for my order (2 quarter pounder meals) right now and it's been 30mins already, the store is relatively empty. There have been numerous others served before me already with larger meals.

They serve their fries less than it's supposed...

Poor area sanitation and poor costumer service, managers have bad attitude tolerating their crew do a dirty work when they don't like the costumer.

They did intentionally putting pubic hair on one of our food that makes their full shift a toxic management, cr and sink are not accessible not also giving enough tissue for my kids.

This should be a lesson for other people who want to dine in the McDonald's muralla branch.

The are gives a full negative energy, they also serve a cold food and crooked coke float.

Me and my family love McDonald's but please don't tolerate your crew's bad attitude. It will give negative feedback for your beloved costumers.
