We tried this restaurant because we were looking for authentic Spanish Filipino food and read some good reviews online. When we got there, they served a cafeteria-style buffet (called carinderia in Filipino), where you could choose what you wanted to eat and it would be brought to you. It was ok, and the majority of the food was real Filipino food (less Spanish). When we dined in, there was no paella, callos, relleno, caldereta, etc. so just setting the expectations to those who is looking for authentic Filipino spanish cuisine.
They offer a wide selection of food, but no prices are listed. It would have been useful for consumers to pick and choose what to eat instead of pointing at the food and not knowing how much they are paying for.
Nothing bad to say about the cuisine; it was just ok.
The restaurant's layout is excellent, although it feels a little outdated and would have been a more pleasurable experience if it had been refurbished.

Read moreI recently visited this charming little café in Intramuros, and I must say, it was a delightful experience! The retro vibe truly sets it apart, with vintage decor and cozy seating arrangements that make you feel like stepping back in time while enjoying modern comforts. The warm lighting adds to the inviting atmosphere, making it an ideal spot to relax or catch up with friends. One of the best aspects is its affordability; the menu offers a variety of delicious Filipino dishes and beverages at prices that won’t break the bank, allowing you to enjoy a hearty meal without feeling guilty about your budget. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I walked in, and their recommendations were spot on. While I would love to see a few more options on the menu, especially for those with dietary restrictions, I highly recommend this cozy spot for anyone looking for a laid-back experience with a touch of nostalgia. Read moreTOURIST TRAP! Or maybe i just had a bad serving. I visited here because of the high rating. It was far below my expectation. I arrived at around 2 PM. The food was already cold, and they did not preheat it.
I ordered two pork dishes and 1 salmon sinigang. 1 piece of salmon is around PHP 450, and in total i spent around PHP 620.
Aside from the taste of the food, the more alarming thing is the hygiene of the restaurant. On my table, there was around 4 cockroaches roaming around.
One of the worst experience I ever had in Manila. Bad food and dirty restaurant. Should have gone to...
