My parents and I arrived prior to 8am and placed an order for 2 cheese pancakes, 4pcs sausages, and a clubhouse sandwich, and 3 cups of brewed coffee. The waiter informed us that the orders would take approximately 20-25 minutes, so we patiently waited. After 20 minutes, I approached the waiter named Ron to inquire about the remaining wait time. He assured me that he would follow up on the order. However, after 30 minutes, they served the clubhouse sandwich, which was unexpectedly cold. I immediately called the waiter and expressed my concern. He took the sandwich back and reheated it. I then inquired about the pending orders for the 2 pancakes and coffee, but even after 40 minutes, they still hadn't arrived. Frustrated, I went to the counter, paid the bill, and requested the clubhouse sandwich to be packed for takeout since the other orders were still not ready. We decided to go to Comedor instead, which was located just across the street. Upon reviewing the receipt from Pancake House, I was disappointed to see that they had charged me an additional 8% on my bill, which was extremely unpleasant considering the poor service we had experienced.
In the event of poor service, it is customary for establishments to provide some form of compensation or consideration. However, in this case, no such gesture was extended to us; instead, they repeatedly apologized without taking any further action. Furthermore, no manager even approached us to address...
Read moreOrdered House Specials Set A and B (Breaded Pork), 3 pc Pancakes, and 1 Iced Coffee. The food was really good. Reminds me of Dennys when I am craving for pancakes and breakfast meals. Servings is also OK and presentable to the eyes, it makes me want to dive in and eat the food immediately. Its just a bit on the pricey side considering the set meals are worth 400 pesos and that's good for 1 person (2 if you are a light eater). Iced coffee is OK. It is not that strong but I appreciate the effort of separating the syrup and milk if you want it to be coffee + water only. Btw, their Tacos are solid as it is their usual specialty. Better buy one if you get to dine in here.
Service is OK. Fast and understanding to requests. I also like the ambience of the restaurant, kid friendly and relaxing. Their restroom is shared with Yellow Cab outside the restaurant. Not a deal breaker since it is well maintained. Just one concern with the parking as it only have few slots to accomodate guests (based from what I remember) so it may be hard to dine-in during peak hours.
Overall, you are getting what you paid for in terms of good food, variety, ambience,...
Read moreWe arrived at around 9:20AM on a Saturday. We saw that the Promotional Eat All You Can was available (Pasta, Chicken, Pancake and Waffles). My wife and I decided to avail the Eat All You Can.
We placed our order at around 9:35AM, the place was full at this point, they even let Pancake House diners to have their table in the Yellow Cab beside it.
We waited for so long for our food. At around 10:25AM, we still did not receive any food. And take note, the order we availed was the Eat All You Can which has a 2 hours limit. At this point, we were already very pissed, also considering that even our FIRST round of the All You Can have not arrived, what about the SECOND round of the All You Can, is it also going to take more than 40 minutes?
At around 10:35AM, we decided to leave the restaurant. 1 hour wasted.
Understaffed, slow food, worst...
