Purple Oven at Alabang — Restaurant in Muntinlupa

It’s frustrating when companies list their closing time as 7, but when you call a few minutes before—say, around 6:50—they tell you they’re already closed until 7. I don’t understand the logic. If you’re going to stop taking calls before 7, why advertise that you’re open until then?

Worst customer service. Been calling their contact number since early afternoon to ask the availability of their cake, but they are not answering and worst dropping the call then just sending a message to apologize that the call cannot be answered. I then had a text conversation asking for the availability again of the cake, then again no direct response if it is available but they did replied with an indirect answer and apologizing again. Decided to booker a courier to buy and pickup the cake and when the rider arrived, cake is not available. So paid the delivery...

Feb. 2, Sunday morning, 10:40AM. I didn't get her name but the cashier insulted me after my slow response and lack of focus (It was a Sunday and I work 5 times a week in the office). She spoke in Tagalog, probably assuming I couldn't understand her. I was about to pay for my order but, when I realized what she had just done, I changed my mind and left.

This or anything similar has never happened to me before. I'm not sure what I would do if I was the manager. It's obviously an issue that might take years and...
