This ramen house specializes in tsukemen developed by Kazuo "The Ramen God" Yamagishi but have also perfected the essence of ramen with crowd favorites Tantanmen and Super Chashu. Different secret menu items exist and are branch exclusive, but for Yushoken Molito, it's the Karai Miso. Makati Mendokoro has Garlic Shoyu BGC has the Japanese Curry Tsukemen Molito Mendokoro has Nagoya, which is a chicken broth based ramen for people who want it light. You can never go wrong with any order, but let me break it down: Light: Shio Crowd favorites: Shoyu, Super Chashu, Tantanmen (🌶) Spicy: Karai Miso (🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶), Karai Maze Soba (Soupless, from 🌶 - 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶) Seafood broth: Karai Tokusei (🌶 - must try), Bonito Tonkotsu, Ebi Tonkotsu (🌶 - must try) Try it: Tantan maze soba There were massive lines then (sometimes up to 2 hours), and with the pandemic, there are still lines. If you are averse to waiting, avoid the lunch and dinner rush. The wait is worth it though. Best part is you can partake the excellent food in the comfort of your own home. Curbside takeout, scheduled takeout, and delivery options are available. (See pictured Ebi Tonkotsu cooked at home)

Such poor service! My friends and I waited for one hour to get a table. The people that came after us got a table before we did. Finally, we get tables since we suggested for 2 of us to sit by the bar, while the other four sat behind us. They got our orders in advance (one hour advanced to be exact) and we still waited for a long time! The annoying part is, while waiting for our food, a waiter gave us our bill! Can you imagine our faces when he handed the bill? We were hungry and annoyed from waiting and that’s what he does. Note that when we actually asked for the bill, it took them forever to give it. I got so hungry that I ordered Aji Tamago for 80php, overpriced if you ask me. There was really nothing special about it. And then finally, we got our food! Their best seller, according to the waitress - Shoyu Tonkotsu Ramen 380php. At first it was good, maybe cause I was hungry? I don’t know. Then I bite the pork, all fat on my first bite! How lucky right? Then after a while, it just got too salty. I didn’t finish it. For my friend, it was too fatty. The other one said it was too creamy. Don’t get me wrong, I love ramen. I eat it all the time when I go to Japan, but I just really didn’t enjoy the food and their service. If you’ve tried authentic ramen in the streets of Japan, you’ll understand where I’m coming from. My friends and I didn’t get what the fuss was all about with this restaurant. Never going back. The wait was so not worth it. Would have given one star, but I liked the actual noodles.

Yushoken wins WORST customer service!! Ordered the shoyu maze soba but just requested that they don’t put the raw egg on top because I’m pregnant and can’t eat raw egg but the waiter refused and said they don’t make any changes to the dishes and that he can just give me a spoon to take it out so I asked to speak to the manager to explain why the raw egg can’t be in my food and the manager also refused my request. Instead they told me to order something else. They made me wait 30 minutes (he even called their area manager about the concern) just to tell me they still refused to omit the egg in my food. So at this point I’m even more pissed because they made me wait so long just to tell me no and they didn’t even have my food prepared yet. ABSOLUTELY ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE! When I asked what they would do if I try to remove the egg from my food and it breaks in my food they said “we’ll just replace it with a new one with the egg again” seriously? They would rather have to make the dish again instead of just not putting the egg on top? Makes no sense LOL so if someone with allergies or medical restrictions eats in their restaurant they won’t make any changes to their food and would rather get bad publicity than be accommodating

I ordered Shoyu ramen and one of my friends ordered a Tokusei tsukemen. It's definitely not the best ramen or tsukemen available, not to mention that it's more expensive than the other ramen places I've been to. For the ramen, the broth is greasy. I was not able to finish the bowl because of it. However, their chasu is very good. It melts in my mouth and I can definitely taste the smokiness similar to a samgyupsal. The noodles were also good. For the tsukemen, broth was very very thick to the point that it's still very salty even when eaten together with the noodles. I would recommend Mitsuyado Sei-men for a better experience when it comes to tsukemen. The line can get a little long at night so allot extra time for the queue. Service were okay. Overall, I would definitely skip this ramen shop as there are other good choices within the vicinity.

Shio Ramen (php470) > Creamy and tasty broth > Thick savory and smokey slab of pork > Tamago has to be ordered as an add on php80 Shoyu Maze Soba (510) > It's like a pancit Canton but elevated complex flavors of the chashu, peanuty > Huge bowl..even bigger than the Ramen that could be shared unless you are super hungry > Leans towards salty side and it's very garlic forward which might be a turn off for others > Fatty broth/sauce was very tasty but easily nakakaumay halfway through the bowl > Great for those looking for veggies because it has a generous portion of bean sprouts and cabbage Two meals above can be comfortably shared by 3 people of you're not super hungry. The price is on the upper side for Ramen and it's disappointing that I can't take my extra home. Gyoza at php280 for 5 PCs was 5/5. Great flavor and price

The restaurant is located in the Molito area. Going there on a Tuesday evening is a bit of a challenge due to traffic. The place is cozy enough to have great conversation with friends. When we got there, we were third on the waiting list. Fortunately, a small table was available for us. The waiter recommended 3 off-the-menu dishes, I only remembered super chasu and ebi tonkotsu. I ordered the ebi tonkotsu (see photo) which cost me PhP550. It is soooooooo yummmmyyy!!!😍😍😍 The seafood broth is so thick and creamy. My ramen was topped with various seafoods. The noodles was thicker than I wanted but it was ok. The ramen left a fishy after taste in my mouth so we requested to get slice of lemon to cleanse my palate. There was no free tea in this restaurant though. 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for serving one of the best ramen I have tried so far.
