Lamarang Restaurant — Restaurant in Nueva Ecija

This place needs major improvement in customer service and restaurant management. I heard this place serves really good food, but when we went there, there happened to be an event going on and we practically had to beg for attention--from getting a table, to even getting the menu. We even had to get our own chairs from the vacant tables just so we could all seat. We waited around for about 10-15 minutes for someone to take our order, and when no one seemed to be paying any attention to us, we told this guy we were ready to order and as it turned out he wasn't an order-taker but told us he will ask someone to look after us, which he did. But the guy he asked never came to our table and so we ended up just leaving. **If you're running a restaurant and you know you have a big event booked, it would benefit you to make sure you have enough staff to look after your customers, or else they'll take their business elsewhere, just like we did. If this is a carinderia type of restausant then it will get a four from me but I feel like this lies between a fine dinining and a carinderia type of restaurant.

Only the kare-kare was very memorable to me other than nothing hits to my taste buds. The place is not well managed regardless of having a lot of people and workers.

This place needs a major renovations and improvements when it comes to interior of the restaurant.

Ordered: kare-kare, crispy pata, calamares, sinigang na salmon, buttered shrimp, lechon kawali and rice.

Everyone in Cabanatuan City knows this place. While it claims to be a Seafood Restaurant but its menu shows otherwise. However, the taste is good and it will not cost you an arm and a leg to dine in this establishment. It is also a place where most weddings and other celebrations are held.
