Myleen's Café — Restaurant in Olongapo

Mexican food that has no resemblance to anything Mexican, but also just not good and surprisingly expensive. 960 p for calderetta and fajitas where the tortillas simply disintegrate when handled and only a miniscule dollop Pico de Gallo as a condiment. Sour cream extra. No cheese. No Spanish rice. No guacamole. A few vegetables in a pan with marinated (?) chicken (this was ok, but not fajitas quality. Seems to be chicken in a sauce, not marinated). The pan came first, not sizzling, and we waited nearly five minutes for two tortillas. But not the four that were ordered. I won't go on. But don't order the fajitas... Or anything mexican, if you like Mexican food. The calderetta also just wasn't good tasting. No idea why or how they got this wrong. It's a local dish. The fajitas alone cost over 600 p including extras that should have come with the main dish. But you can't get extras and pay for them when the don't have them. So.....

I know this is a bit late, but I just had to share our awesome experience at Myleen's Cafe from back on March 17. While on our way to Zambales, we decided to stop for some good food, and we're so glad we did!

Now, a heads-up: the service was a bit slow. They were honest about it, saying they needed a bit of patience from diners. We ended up waiting about an hour, so it might be a good idea to call ahead and make some arrangements to avoid that long wait.

I came in to make reservations for weekly lunches with my clients between 6-10 of us i came along to sit down to try a appetizer before my clients arrived.. I was greeted politely but i had a small can of coke in my hand and was told i couldnt have that inside..NO posted sign on policies ..I was recommended JEWELS..Jewels actually 25-30% cheaper and amazing ribs,Filete Mignon..My lunches average about $50 3 times a week..150$X52 = $7000 a yr plus word of mouth to go to Jewels..All this over a can of coke..Jewels is #1 in Baretto..# 2 Sit and Bull..Been 3 weeks owner wont respond!! Im on point..To the owner excuses wont bring customers in..Every business should do better n didnt respond in 5 such lies!! I posted this in November so stop...
