A Korean chef sharing a snack bar experience in Bohol
The owner is Korean and she brings her dishes from South Korea here to Bohol. She has a staff of locals helping her to cook.
This is not your typical restaurant, but a cafe and snack bar. We saw many people confused about the menu and not trying it :(. It’s sad because you are missing out!
How a cafe and snack bar works is, it’s a place where friends or family can order plates and share amongst one another with a side of rice and smoothies. It’s a social experience to enjoy good food and company.
The menu is carefully selected down to familiar popular dishes as snacks from Korean dishes such as gimbap, (boneless style) Korean fried chicken, kimchi pancake ( their version of a scallion pancake), and many more.
We ordered the chicken gangjeong (Korean fried chicken), kimchi pancake, a side of white rices, gimbap , mango smoothie, and Oreo smoothie.
Everything was delicious, the gangjeong is a MUST order. It’s sweet, tangy, and has a little kick. It’s absolutely has that double layer crunch you can find in Korean fried chicken.
This place is the only place in Bohol for Korean fried chicken experience. The dishes are fair in size and everything is freshly made to order.
