Only thing missing is the time-share pitch.

As a first matter, this is not a true "public restaurant." Stick and Bowl is a tourist stop focused on vans and busses of Korean tourists stopping by for a fixed-price (prix fixe) meal. They focus set platters of mid-quality food with a hint of Korean flavor for tourists who are not ready to enjoy local food.

Their customers are mainly scheduled one-time visitors who are taken there by tour guides who get a commission or work with them on package deals. They don't expect a lot of repeat business and their service and quality shows.

If you go expecting to order Korean food off a menu, you will be disappointed. If you are looking for Samgyeopsal / BBQ, major disappointment. They do have a limited menu, but many items that are not a part of their tourist set menu are not available.

No beef. No kim chee. No Korean pickles. No stock on many items unless it feeds a tourist bus.

It is not bad, it just isn't good. It is Korean food the way Jollibee is American hamburgers. Understand that if you are looking to go to a real resturant, in particular a real Korean restaurant, this is not the place. All the disappointment of a buffet without the variety options or ease and value.

The food, service and general feel made me wonder if we were going to be pitched a vacation timeshare before they...

From Bohol Sunside Resort, this restaurant was 5-10 minute walk. Still, it was the closest. The nearest sari-sari store locals suggested this newly opened restaurant so we tried it on our last night before leaving for Manila. We never regretted it since the ambiance was good, although it was an open resto, the electric fans were enough to keep the humid feeling away.

The best-seller that we tried were the fried rice, Jap chae, and Korean meat ball. The fried rice was good and it was enough for 4 people. There were 8 of us but we didn't finish 2 orders of the fried rice. The Japchae was, I think, lacking some noodles (which means that they are generous on the toppings). The Korean meat ball didn't really get to me but the green bean sisig was very good and the portion was more than enough for the price. We also ordered the Grilled Squid but I only got 1 slice. Must be good, huh?

The staff was very attentive to our needs, they were very nice. The management is very reasonable and I would commend them for handling our group in a very special way. ;) I believe they'd treat...

It was my 4th time in visiting this place. Aside from being affordable, the staff and the owner of this resto are so approachable and made us feel like we're home. No discrimination to locals unlike other restaurants, not all, but there are some restaurants who don't cater eagerly to us because we are just Filipinos and their other customers are foreigners. Will be my only comfort place...

Very bad and not commercial!!! No toilet No sink to wash hand No bibimbap No Shake banana No saute Saang No saute fish They have nothing This restaurant has nothing to eat, the menu is nice but most of the dishes are Not available, if you take a barbecue for 2 you are separated from your friends so as not to share while the others have taken dishes. No logic, no respect for the customer!!!!

THE BEST! At least in my experience, this is the best restaurant that I have visited while staying in Bohol. The food was perfect not so salty nor sweet, the service was perfect with the owner and staff being so kind and attentive, and the atmosphere very open and welcoming :). Overall, just so happy that I had a chance to visit this place and will come back next time in Bohol.
