A few years ago, I visited Kimono Ken in SM BF in Paranaque City while visiting my parents in the Philippines. I tried their mango shake and teryaki chicken salad with mangoes and their special fries rice. I was obsessed. I like Japanese food but they have something special going with mangoes in their menu. The Mango shake is to die for! It has no milk and it’s fresh mangoes blended and tastes sweet and fresh. The salad is so yummy! The chicken is so soft yet crunchy! I’m not sure how they made this chicken but it was delicious with the fresh cold greens and the mango slices! The sauce is some kind of Japanese mayo with some delicious vinaigrette with just enough sourness and sweetness. I forgot to take a photo of the fried rice but it was so delicious and even worked with the fried chicken on the salad. My mom had some tempura and she loved the sauce with ginger. I can back five years ago and the food tastes consistently good! I just came back and tried everything yesterday and it’s still as delicious! I am so happy to know they still have Kimono Ken in the mall. I don’t enjoy SM malls anymore because I have asthma and they allow pets now, but I will wear my mask and go to SM just to eat Kimono Ken. I hope someday they have their own branch outside the malls. Thank you for the great service as well. Everyone was so pleasant and clean. Thank you!

Service from the staff was superb. Servers were very attentive and provided what we requested promptly. Food was served with minimal waiting time. Sukiyaki is our go-to order here, which is good for 2 already. Kakiage was crispy and not at all oily. Budget spent was around 1000 pesos for 2 people (with 1 senior). Place was clean and it was easy to get a table. Recommending this place for a level up experience vs. the common japanese fast food place.

One of our go to places to eat. We normally (as in always) order Gumoko Ramen (5/5) - my son's favorite in this restaurant Bacon Asparagus Maki (5/5) a family fave (my mom, my son's and mine) Chicken Teridon (5/5) - right serving size. you'll have enough space for a couple of pieces of Bacon Asparagus Maki Sukiyaki (5/5) - This is This will always be the first place i'll go to in SM BF when i'm there and it's meal time (or even when it's not).
