A restaurant like Army Navy should have a currency detector machine. We were informed that one of our 1,000-peso bills "looked fake," even though my colleague had just withdrawn it. The cashier had to call her manager to relay the information. Given her apparent experience, she should have been able to address the situation confidently without hesitation. Instead, they discussed right in front of us who would tell us and how to do it. Proper training for such scenarios is essential.
We were there around 3 a.m. for dine-in, and they initially told us the wait time would be 20 minutes, but it exceeded 30 minutes. No one updated us until we had to ask them to pack our order for take-out. The blue eco-bag they used for the 3 jars of LiberTea was dirty—it had clearly been used before!
Additionally, neither the manager nor the cashier smiled or seemed willing to engage with us. I understand it was late and they might have been tired, but we were on a graveyard shift too. Restaurants should remember that when we choose to spend our hard-earned money there, we expect to enjoy the experience, regardless of the purchase amount. Unfortunately, their customer service was...
Read moreThis was my first visit to ArmyNavy, and its pretty decent! Think premium fast food experience. I liked the cold aircon inside, sink for washing up, music, decor, all that stuff was fine.
Steak burrito was hot and fresh with a good ratio of meat to other ingredients. Is it like a steak burrito in socal? No, but it's pretty good for 310 pesos.
Also had the "fearless" fried chicken and rice. Chicken was hot, fresh, juicy, and crunchy outside with a slightly spicy taste similar to p*peyes. Even the rice was good, nice clean big grains, not over or under cooked, sticking together or anything like that.
I don't usually leave reviews. But it was good enough that I wanted to say something. Overall was pleasantly surprised and definitely want to return sometime. Can't wait to try the...
Read moreWe’ve been eating at this branch for long, but staff is very rude, especially the branch manager.
Food was good, but when we were asking for a salsa refill, their policy was inconsistent. At another branch, we were told that we had one free refill, which they accommodated when I asked for one. When my companion, however, attempted to do the same, they said they charged for the refill. He then attempted to pay, but the manager blatantly attempted to turn him away, saying they didn’t have change for large bills, very rudely. When we tried to ask for his name, in an attempt to report him, he denied giving us his name and told us to send an email to complain instead.
The food is good but if only I could give negative five stars for the...
