I recently visited Ben’s Halo Halo, and I have to say, it’s a charming little spot for anyone who loves halo-halo. From the outside, the place looks small and unassuming, but once you step in, it has this lovely Filipino vibe that I really enjoyed. The atmosphere felt cozy and inviting, perfect for spending time with family or friends. I decided to try the Banana Halo Halo, and it was quite an experience. At first, it seemed pretty simple, but as I mixed it up, there were so many layers of flavor waiting at the bottom. The combination reminded me of mais and saba con yelo, which was a unique and fun take on the usual halo-halo. The portion size was generous, and the price felt reasonable—definitely worth it if you’re craving a dessert that hits the spot. The menu isn’t limited to halo-halo either. They offer snacks like pasta, nachos, fries, and other pica-pica items, which makes it a versatile place to visit, especially with a group. That said, there are a couple of downsides. The space is small, and the air conditioning isn’t the best, so it can get a bit warm inside. They also have additional ice cream flavors, but honestly, they weren’t that great. I’d say stick with the halo-halo—it’s clearly their specialty. Overall, I left feeling satisfied and happy with my visit. Ben’s Halo Halo is a great spot for dessert lovers, and I’m already thinking about going back to try more!

We usually eat at Ben's Halo-Halo in our hometown (Cabanatuan) and this was our first time trying one of their branches in Manila. So I was a bit surprised by the higher prices here perhaps there's been a price increase across all branches? In Cabanatuan, their banana con yelo was ₱110 when we ate a month ago, here it’s ₱146 😅 But this is still one of the most sulit and creamiest halo-halo for us. As someone who doesn’t like too many ingredients like beans and gulaman in a typical Pinoy halo-halo, I love this Ben’s simpler yet delicious version. They’ve maintained the consistency that keeps us coming back—the ice has a texture similar to bingsu and when mixed, it almost tastes like a milkshake!

Its a small store that sells halo-halo. They also sell food like pasta but the main crowd drawer here is the Halo-halo. When they mentioned its creamier than the rest... they are not kidding. Lots of delivery pick-up going on around here so you know its good. Took home 4 halo-halo and stuck it in the freezer. Frozen solid the next day and I Thawed it. Guess what, it almost still had the same consistency from a newly ordered Halo-halo. That my friend is a testament of how good the ingredients are.

I have tried saba con yelo and mais con yelo. These are the best because they're cheap but taste really good. I always order the tuna pasta here. The rice meals are okay; it's not a huge serving, though. Well, price-wise, it's cheap.

Their ice is like the ice from Razon's, you know. Just to give you an idea, it's creamy and, I think, has a lot of milk too.

The tuna pasta has a lot of tuna, and of course, it tastes like tuna. It's okay for its price. It's my favorite, and I always order it when we...
