One of my worst experiences in a restaurant :( the staff were so nice and they apologized for stuff so I really feel bad writing this but it was just notably bad. Went here to get some well-needed comfort food but I was not comforted BAJAJSJDJD
ORDERING Ordering pa lang sobrang labo na nila :( they kept getting our orders wrong and we had to keep repeating it to them. One of the staff? Maybe the manager ? told us that the chicken fingers are good for sharing but (if u see in the picture) it’s literally so small, just four sad pieces of chicken with very sparse fries :(
THE FOOD Their chicken fingers had the thinnest breading in the world, the serving sizes are sooo tiny for the price! The chicken fingers were okay naman but still super bland and not worth the price. The fries were so little parang mas marami pa yung small fries ng Jollibee. I couldn’t even get through the waffle. It tasted like bread. Not even good bread, it was like Pinoy Tasty level of bland. I took one bite and just decided “nope”. Putting butter and syrup couldn’t save it either it has no taste at all. Felt like I was eating cardboard. It was probably old. It wasn’t even hot. I’m not that picky with food especially cause I was already really hungry but the waffle. It was just so bad I was chewing it pa lang, I was already like wow I do not want to be eating this right now.
CLEANLINESS While we were eating there was a cockroach on the floor. We told the waiter and he was able to sweep it away and the manager apologized and said they just had pest control yesterday. They have this open kitchen set up and when we first got there I noticed a sunny side up egg sitting on one of the plates randomly just there and I ignored it. After we ate which took around 30-40 minutes the same egg was still sitting there on the...
Read moreits my first time to try Denny's in Eastwood and since my son was craving for a perfect pancake i insist to have late lunch here and waited for their pancake promotion too.. over all experience the food was good.. the pancake was up to my expectations and taste like pancake i always have in UAE which Dennys was my always to go to if i was craving for a pancake.. The 375 set meal was worth trying specially the caesar salad that we enjoyed a lot.. though, the omu rice was not the one i was expected However the taste and portion doesnt disappoint as well as the pork belly crunch meal.. However, the only cons was the staff was not too attentive to the needs of their customers or if they needed assistance in the food choices.. Menu was offered upon seated However, it took like 15-20mins. until we caught the attention of the server that we are ready to order and the restaurant was not too busy.. as well as the coffee refills that i upgraded to unlimitimed was not asked to be refilled and i need to call the attantion of the staff that i needed a refill that they should have been the one asking if i need another round of coffee..the food quality and portions was good though just that, the attentiveness of the staff must have been better and gave us a more pleasurable dining experience.. though the new lady staff wearing all black was more attentive than the regular staff that i forgot to get her name though.. her patience and attentiveness will get her a long way.....
