What an absolute joke of a steakhouse. If you're looking for overpriced disappointment served with a side of attitude, this is the place for you.
Let’s start with the steak.which is ironic, considering they can’t even get their signature dish right. I ordered a medium-rare ribeye, and what arrived looked and tasted like a dried-out boot sole. It was grey all the way through, tough as leather, and completely devoid of seasoning. When I politely mentioned it to the waiter, he shrugged and said, “That’s how we do it here.” Seriously?
And don’t expect the service to save the night. The staff were cold, inattentive, and borderline rude. We were seated late despite having a reservation, ignored for 20 minutes, and when someone finally came to take our order, they acted like they had somewhere better to be. No check-ins, no water refills, and when it came time to pay, they nearly threw the bill at the table.
The only thing rarer than a properly cooked steak here is decent customer service.
Do yourself a favor and skip this disaster of a restaurant. There are better steaks, better service, and better atmospheres at literally any half-decent diner. This place is an embarrassment to the word...
Read moreTried Ikinari Steak at Robinsons Magnolia for lunch and ordered the Wild Steak. They offer a ₱170 combo for salad and soup, but I found it quite pricey since the salad was just basic veggies, and the soup was literally one small cup.
The steak was served on a sizzling plate, which was nice, but for me, the taste was quite bland, and the Wild Steak itself was fatty and tough to chew. Next time, I’d probably go for the tenderloin instead.
One thing I didn’t enjoy was the shared round table seating—since the space inside is limited, you might have to sit with strangers, which isn’t the most comfortable setup.
Pros: ✅ Affordable option for steak cravings ✅ Complete condiments (steak sauce, wasabi, garlic salt, pepper) to adjust the taste ✅ Decent ambiance
Cons: ❌ Wild Steak was too fatty and chewy ❌ Salad and soup combo felt overpriced ❌ Shared table seating can be uncomfortable
Overall, I’d rate it 3 stars for the experience but maybe 3.5 for the steak itself. It’s an okay place if you’re looking for a budget-friendly steak option, but I wouldn’t expect...
