From their service down to their food. We gave Buffet 101 Robinsons Magnolia a Negative reviews, we're 3 people and we're so disappointed.
They let us come in at about 8:30 pm they gave us our seats and told us that the last call was 9:30pm and she left and that was all she said. After we sat, the food that was left in the buffet was very little but we tried but we gave them the benefit of the doubt thinking they were going to refill since it was still pretty early, so gathered our food. I tasted the fries salmon belly they were so hard and dry, even the soup was so cold, pancit canton was stale hard and dry.
We were waiting if they going to bring out more food but we soon realized that they didn't have any intention to even though the last call was 9:30, mind you it was still about 8:30. One of the servers approached us if we have discount card, and reminded us about the payment, we haven't even been there for more than 15 minutes. Soon after, we inquired if they were going to refill the foods since the food we were eating were so stale and dry, she said she will check, after that, she was gone and we saw her go to her coworkers and we noticed that she was showing her rude and grumpy face while looking at all of us and talking about us while looking at us. The manager came over but the tone wasn't very welcoming and approachable either, and although was talking in a low tone voice and he said that, "usually 8:30pm is the last call and we show them the food before we let them in". So I replied to him that we arrived at about 8:30pm and your crew brought us inside and let us sit and the only thing she told us was that 9:30pm is the last call. So we're expecting for more food to come out since we arrived at about 8:30pm.
This isn't really about the cost of the food and such, but due to the lack of honest and welcoming service, we lost our appetite to continue, and even if we did continue to eat there was barely any food left while other dishes were empty.
We just left, paid our bill and they gave us a 15% discount. We don't really care about the discount, we're able to pay them in full. The most important thing is the service and they should not let in customers if they cannot even replenish the food in the buffet stations. We went there expecting we can have warm and freshly made dishes, only to be disappointed. Please...

Inform them that this one is chargeable already and serve them what it need to be really chargeable like spoon n fork. Pasalamt ka at may flight ung kasama namin. Kundi I have all the time to argue with you. Sometime may case to case basis tayo. Wag mashado pabida ate. Hope it would not happen to you somehow. Napaka disappointing ng service mo. Also customers ask you before entry of the premise for clarification but you failed to give proper and correct information. You made us feel that you just trap us. To have a customers. Always remember that what you did definitely comes back to you šÆ. Anyways kuddos to the other employees Giving us the best service you could give. And to the manager thanks for giving us the right information about what we ask before hand. But it would not help anymore. We been in the trap already. So its no use anymore. Thank ate girl. They had a wide variety of selections our fave being salmon sachimi,roast beef,dimsum specially hakaw & chicken feet. 2022 we visited for the first time after they had re-opened. We were so disappointed with the selections,service. We understood at the time,maybe they were still recovering losses etc. We only returned today for lunch. Again we were disappointed. We came in 11:30am upon opening at the Buffet 101 in Rob Magnolia. 1 hr into the buffet, The roast beef ran out(mind you the first batch of roast beef was so tough & obviously overcooked,left over from the previous nightsbuffet?)We were told to wait 30-40mins for the next batch? We even had to wait for the gravy???! They decided to bring it out before 1pm. The roast chicken I only saw once. No refill. So did the chicken feet & we were told that they had ran out of stock?? On a Sunday,lunch. The fresh cold shrimp we had to wait for another 30mins. & after that no more. There was no calamansi for the sashimi & dimsum! Whaat??They havenāt brought back hakaw on the menu. Needless to say,we wonāt be back anytime soon....
