KFC — Restaurant in Quezon City

1. It happened in our previous take-out visit that when we ordered a “8-Pc. Bucket” of chicken (a la carte), we instructed twice on the PA that the order EXCLUDE leg parts only. We received our order, paid, and left without inspecting the contents of the bucket. When we got home, we found the bucket had four (4) leg pieces all along! So starting with this order, before leaving the window counter, we check the contents of the bucket to make sure no leg parts were included. Fortunately, in this order, it wasn’t. But this time, we won’t care if we hold up the queue behind before we check the contents of the bucket. “Honesty is still the best policy.”

2. A beggar usually stand by near the drive-thru window counter. It’s okay to be charitable but not close to the customer. For sometime in 2021, it was a blind man. But he stood on the opposite (passenger) side of the vehicle so he didn’t intimidate. So we gave him money. But now in 2022, it was a woman standing next to the counter, which tends to be close. This “racket” has been going on not just in KFC but in other fastfood drive-thrus as far back as 1996 (with a nearby McDonald’s) unless there’s a security guard...

Had breakfast today at KFC Banawe branch at around 8:40am. We were suppose to get the D1 Combo meal which consists of 2pcs pancake, 1 pc Cheesedog, tocin, rice, egg and coffee and another Combo Meal which consists of tocino, rice and coffee.

Unfortunately, they said that the tocino meal is not available anymore. I asked them until what time is their bfast meals available, they said its upto 10:30am (so we still have 1 hr and 50 mins before their bfast meal ends). Anyway... I decided to order the Asian Bowl... But again... it's not yet available since it's too early. So instead of my not available orders... :P I ordered the 2pc original chicken meal. The chicken is so dry, one of the chickens have no more skin (the best part of eating kfc chicken). So sad, coz that's one of our favorite when eating at KFC.

When it comes to the parking... there are some parking spaces in front of the restaurant. They also have some inside when you enter the drive thru/parking area.

The Place itself is clean, the crew... (well we just talked to one crew at the cashier). :p She's okay...

So my overall rating for this kfc...

Very bad experience from this branch! I've been ordering from this store thru the Kfc delivery app and it was such an awful experience. The worst part is I can't even change the store from the app.

Their service is very bad. I tried ordering from this branch and they just dont update you on your order. I've been waiting for more than an hour and yet no update. I just found out that it was cancelled when I personally called them. They dont even cancel it on the app and they've done this a couple of times now and I just let it slide the first few times but they just dont have accountability and they are even rude about it.

This branch is not recommended. You guys are better off dining with other kfc branches here in Manila. Try Kfc Dapitan instead, the service from that brach...
