Was craving for Max's chicken so we went there after my lab today.
One thing I realized, the inflation is real. 🔥
Either the one piece chicken really got this small or prices have really gone up. 😕
This is 330+ pesos per set. A bundle where you can have 1-pc chicken meal - that goes with java rice, caramel bars and kamote chips - and then I added sizzling tofu; my hubby added bangus sinigang. 🍲
Same great taste though and we still enjoy the mix of the sauces for the chicken. 🍗
P.S. there was a guy on another table ordered take out and waited for over 30 mins for his order. The server was walking very slowly like a 'walk in the park'. She could've walked faster and showed a little urgency so they guy won't get aggravated. ...

The food is dried and no longer hot when serve...not satisfied customer here..it just riuned our event night...not worth it.... don't dare to try again..never again Max's Eastwood. It's a mess dealing with you people.,
The manager should resign otherwise closed shop..no deserve to serve Eastwood market.
Beef kare-kare was not only stale but cooked with lapsed meat and veggies. I had to spit out all the pechay!

We were warmly welcomed by super friendly staff.
Our food was served less than 20 minutes as initially promised. The chicken and kare-kare are still one of my pinoy favorites!
The staff even offered to mix the chicken dipping sauce (banana ketchup + worcestershire sauce) for us. He was also attentive, helpful, and extremely corteous.
