Top of mind among locals for budget friendly buffet!
We came here on a Sunday, before 2pm, and hey they are still accepting and we still had our full!
Wide selection and the food is equally good (hey, their decades of service means surely they have mastered the formula)!
Went here for Mom's birthday and will be back again for mother's day. As they say, ya keep coming back for more.
They have hand wash, toilet, plenty of parking.
The staff are trained well, polite.
They don't allow animals inside though so better not bring your furry friend as he will have to wait crying at the bench outside, looked after by Manong Guard.
Our group also bought 1.5L softdrink and Big Scoop ice cream small tubs.
The place evidently has seen better days, it does not look elegant, tiles are muddy, but anyway, you did not come here to eat elegance, you are here to eat to your heart's content without breaking the bank...
They accept PWD senior discount card.
The second floor also houses a function room for events as there was a children's party. They have their own serving trays.
Plenty of dessert choices and love that they have those chicharap prawn crackers or cracklings (my favorite in Chinese restos, usually it accompanies the fried duck).
No unli ice cream and no unli juice, just water and tube ice. No free wifi.
They made "ligpit" or took in the serving trays around the time buffet ends, as indicated. In class we call it, finished or not finished, pass your paper LMAO.
Not really wheelchair friendly as 4 men were carrying a geriatric on a chair down the stairs. It was a sight to behold, I reckon nobles of the past were carried in the same fashion.
Also the dirty plates were not taken promptly and there was only one set of utensils (I don't really like using the spoons for the viand for the sweets as well, you know what I'm saying).
I have included a pic of the Rates and Schedule for your reference.
Update Returned here mother's day and omg the place looks like Armageddon. They don't allow walk in this Holiday, only reservation. And even if you got in, the line was super duper long as in. Well in fairness almost all restos are at full today. It's just that the line to the buffet table here is a...
Read moreIt was pretty good for a P338 all-you-can eat lunch. My fave was the huge steamed fish which was so light and soft. I'm happy that they didn't get heavy on the salt for the dishes. They were also quick to refill. Selections during our visit included Filipino staple food like pancit canton, yang chow, sweet and sour pork, fried chicken, lumpiang shanghai, chopsuey, steamed fish in light soy sauce, and nido soup. They also had maki, asado siopao, pork siomai, small slices of sponge cake (yum) , maja blanca (meh!), puto, tiny cupcakes, fruits, coffee jelly (yum), buko pandan (meh), sesame balls, coconut balls, macaroni salad, and vegetable salad. You may order drinks separately.
The staff were nice. The guard immediately assisted us in parking our car. Payment was cash only and was collected once we were seated.
There was only one rest room each for male and female but thankfully,...
Read moreWhen we went here, it was already a last minute dinner. Usually they are open until 8:00pm. This branch of Tramway (Banawe) has a smaller variety of foods compared to the other. I'm not sure but the cost my Auntie paid for me is around 350-380Php If I'm not mistaken and with my 2year old niece is 125Php. It's a bit expensive for a 2 year old, I'm not sure. Remarkably the fried dimsum is tasty. The siomai and steamed cream dory fish is awesome. The cantonese cuisine they present is good but the waitresses, as well as the one who holds the receipt or calculate the total bill has a bad attitude especially when it comes to the discounts of Senior Citizens and PWDs. I just hope she can try to adjust and...
