There was no line when I got there- amazing on its own! Kuya guard/receptionist was very accommodating and helpful. The tables were rather small, I requested a table for 6, we were seated at a table that looked like it was for 4... We got the Korea x Japan promo which included all meat- chicken, pork, beef offerings, unli cheese and sides, with California Maki, Spicy Tuna Maki, Kani Maki and Tuna Sashimi.

The pork and beef offerings were nice, the marinated cuts were all sweet, normal local barbecue marinades. The salt and pepper seasonings are so far the preferred of all the offerings. Oohh and the buttered beef sirloin is fantastic! The bulgogi came cooked, still sweet but nice enough.

We ordered all the Japanese stuff and only ever got the over-mayoed California Maki and bad cuts of Tuna Sashimi.

The sides are plentiful but all in all not impressive. Their authentic kimchi is still too sweet, their normal kimchi is just plain sweet. Everything else is sweet.

I know we stayed looooong. But there was no indicated time limit, and we came in batches, sorry, but I sort of felt like our orders were kind of ignored or forgotten sometimes, but then again, maybe it was not intentional, I'd like to think so.

Overall, for the price, I'd likely bring my...

STAFFS. ARE. RUDE.

The brown-haired girl that apparently works at the cashier is very grumpy from the very beginning. She raised her voice to one of my friends who was asking something.

The same girl handed bunch of chopsticks in a sarcastic way to my friend who just recently arrived. He is just asking for one but for unknown reason, she handed many chopsticks to him that kinda threw my whole mood throughout the entire time. FYI, the way she gave it was very very rude.

Guy in glasses was very rude as well with his replies. He just said “wait” and never got back. We had to wait for a very long period of time and ask another staff.

I get that this store must have been short staffed but it doesn’t justify their rude actions. Please impose professionalism or better yet quit on your job if you can’t handle giving service to other people. Never going back here....

What a mess.

Went to eat here on a weekend lunch. Arrived with few other customers eating. We were not assisted where to sit and server's attitude is not helping out. Server took the order but mistakenly gave the wrong meats. The bulgogi is too salty same goes with the chapchae. Fat/meat ratio of pork cuts is unreasonable its like 70-80% fat. And the experience with the service made it worse. I was handed the bill as if theyre asking me to leave. All the other customers were not handed the bill early. And I was ignored more than 5 times after the 2nd order. My companion and I left after I couldnt stand being ignored.

My companion and I got stomach problems later that night.

Do not go to this place if you want good service...

The food is very nice. The service is splendid, only the atmosphere is kinda gloomy. Or idk if it's just their theme.

Meat options are pork, beef and chicken in plain, herbed and yangnum (very sweet soy marinate) that we tried. Spicy also didn't try. They have chicken buttoms (tail end of chicken) didn't notice, will try next time. Inconsistent cuts, our 2nd order of herbed pork was too thick and wanted it crispy but got really dry (maybe the coal heat was too low also at that point) Banchans most of them are sweet, even the kimchi. Except for the toge and mashed potato(with raisins??) Makis and tuna sashimi are available. Red ice tea. All unlimited. I enjoyed the plain meats with the sauces and melted cheese (eden or quickmelt) And we queued 10minutes at most during dinner time.
