Leaving here my honest review of Privato QC. My sister and I stayed the night because we needed to run errands in the city. I booked the hotel the night before through their official website and paid 3.4k pesos. At first glance, the hotel seems nice. The lobby's pretty, the staff are all wonderful, and the common areas smell good. Beds are comfy too. However, I noticed the following things during my stay: 1. Cracks all over the hotel walls. 2. The toilet and overall sewage had a smell. 3. Some of the bathroom floor tiles were lifting up. 4. Unlike other (budget/4-star) hotels, the door did not automatically lock upon closure. 5. Barely any provided toiletries and bath necessities. The only things provided are as follows: 1 small and round soap bar, 2 dental kits, 2 pairs of hotel slippers, 1 body/shampoo bottle by the shower. 6. The shower wasn't spraying water as smoothly as expected which could be due to like mineral build up or something. 7. Limited parking. 8. Room has limited lighting. It's more of mood lighting so if you're thinking of working through the night during your stay– it might not be the best hotel for you. Our room had no proper desk lamp either. 9. Seat by the desk had obvious stains. 10. Found random staple wires in my bed. 11. Walls are THIN. I literally could hear the person next door sneezing. 12. Wifi isn't as reliable as I'd hoped. As for breakfast, there were no typical breakfast items like pancakes, bacon, ham– but there were sausages, plain rice, scrambled eggs with cheese, some simple sliced bread and rolls, and funny enough, orange chicken + roasted veggies. Brewed coffee, mango juice, and hot chocolate were available too. The staff are all really nice though so at least they have that.

this boutique gotel is owned and managed by the Max group of companied..small lobby but cozy enough with Cobonpue chairs and lamps, a pianist and singer rendering a nice, relaxing repertoire...not a lot of people so if you want to entertain guests at the restaurant (Maple) you just might have the place all to yourselves...however food is not spectacular and did not find anything to rave about and prices are a bit steep.. management has to fix the leak on the roof, there were wet puddles on the floor near the sofas during that rainy day we visited.

Stayed there for free for a night due to a wedding in which the newly wed is a close friend of mine. The place is amazing, the room is big, bed is comfy, amazing smart tv with fast internet connection. The buffet breakfast was also delictable and the service is up top. You really wont notice the hotel at all when you 're somewhere in Timog due to its simple facade but you will be suprise when you enter.

I was on a solo business trip for a couple of days for business, and I love how clean this place is! Their high ceiling really makes the room feel big that I had to get used to it for the first night XD But I love how everything was neat and tidy, and the floor that I was on was quiet and peaceful... Up until they had a celebration/motivation for their college student XD it was my first time experiencing the liveliness of the culture here and it makes me really happy. Usually, from where I'm from, there would be noise complaints, which is understandable, but that's why it's a bland place LOL. Their washroom is a whole different experience. It makes me want to have a washroom like theirs where it's kind of an open concept to the bedroom. Like you can't see the shower itself, the wall separating from the washroom to the bedroom is concrete(?) and glass, but it's still open, if that makes sense! As a solo female traveller, I felt really safe knowing that I can see and hear everything in my room. This hotel is definitely in a safe area where I can roam around and experience the culture and get back to my roots. The only thing I regret is not swimming in their pool! And also experience their massage! I just didn't have the chance to D: But when I come back, I will make sure to find time to just relax and use the full experience Privato has to offer. When it comes to the staff, I love how they are so welcoming and respectful. Unlike American hotel staff, Filipino staff actually follow what you leave up at the door. The "DO NOT DISTURB" sign actually works!! Even if you don't need any cleaning, they still come by afterwards (when you leave) to make sure everything is top notch. I really appreciate the little things they do to make sure you feel comfortable and at peace. Overall, I give this place a 10/10, and as a solo female FiloNadian traveller, I would definitely recommend...

Very bad customer service. We were told to stay in our room to wait for swab result as part of the protocol when we exit after the project. We all cooperated with the policy because that's for our safety. Then when all the result came out, all of us were negative. Technically, we can already leave but due to QC curfew, we all stayed for the night. Since all of us experienced stress and anxiety for waiting, the production informed us that we can already order food because we can go outside our rooms. So some of us excitedly ordered food but upong claiming the food from the driver, the receptionist and the guard did not allow us to get the food. They told us that if we are hungry, we can order food here at the hotel (wow!). Now, we can claim our food the next day after checkout.

Next, when i went to the lobby to get my packages delivered when we were not allowed to go out of our rooms, the receptionist again told me that she cannot give me my packages because it's the policy. (Huh? I don't get it. I am right there, talking to her in person)

Again, we understand that for safety, we must stay in our rooms while waiting for the results. But then again, we already tested negative and we can even go to the lobby. Even the production who reserved the hotel tried to negotiate with them but they can't give us proper explanation as to why they won't allow us to get our food and just order from them, and why they cannot give me my packages so that i can pack it already for checkout tomorrow.

I am still giving 1 star for the effort of receiving my package and informing me that they have it...
