The Fat Seed Cafe + Roastery — Restaurant in Quezon City

The place is located quite in the isolated part of the mall. Tried quite a few times finding this place finally found it. Located near along the side of CBTL and Healthy Option on the G/F of the Cinema Bldg of UP Town.

Love the artsy look of the place with that coffee shop vibe. Even the tables got a lovely colorful painting. Just a bit crowded inside where we were seated.

For the food we ordered a wide array of food and surprisingly price wise the food was affordable for their serving size. We started it out with the Spinach and Shroom. Healthy good starter. Love the mix of spinach, cheese, mushroom with the hint of truffle oil. Next appetizer was the steet fries for the kid. She really enjoyed this just make sure to remove the jalapeno. For the main dish I got the Wagyu Pares because of the unique presentation of it. Served in a stainless lunchbox. Nice bring back memories of elementary days haha. The wagyu cube pares was yummy. Love the sweet flavor of the pares combined with the soft wagyu meats. Goes well with the garlic rice mixed with chili oil. Also got to try the buttered fried chicken with ube waffle from my brother. I love the tender flavorful chicken but the waffle I want more ube flavor from it. Next the signature porkchop was huge. The meat was a fave of mine. A dish that you'll get coming back for more.

Overall this is a new go to place for me in UP...

The FSC+ Roastery was highly recommended by a friend. When we browsed through their magazine menu I was smitten. Everything looked so good. We started ordering and the spinach dip was splendid. And so was the iced coffee. But as we waited for our main orders for over an hour, the food came in trickles, 1 dish appeared at a 15minutes interval; the entire “feel good” vibe just went down the drain. Several follow up did not get honest feedback from the servers. We were just left to guess what was going on while other tables, wc were filled after us, got their food first. Finally my “kale crusted salmon” order came, but without the kale crust. They took it back and another 15mins of waiting ensued.
